It seems like an attack on Iraq is coming soon.
Place your bet as to when the attack will begin.
Whoever gets closest to the date and time wins.
Attack time must be specified in Month, Day, Year, Hour, and Minute
For the hour, don't forget to specify what time zone you are referring to.
There is no decision on a prize to be awarded yet except for bragging rights.

It was a Wednesday night when my family was on the way home from church when Bush Sr. declared war on Iraq. I wouldn't be suprised if it is this Sunday night when my famuly is on the way home from church that Bush Jr. declares ware on Iraq.

I don't think the war is going to happen. I just don't. (but I've freed up some funds for a quick purchase of these guys (RTN= Raytheon) just in case) :)

It's not going to happen. Appeasement is right in front of us. Hopefully I will be surprised by an attack, but I think President Bush has blinked too many times. The religion of peace marches on and our laws protect it. Islam is the enemy!!!

It's not going to happen. Appeasement is right in front of us. Hopefully I will be surprised by an attack, but I think President Bush has blinked too many times. The religion of peace marches on and our laws protect it. Islam is the enemy!!! I agree with you. In the Gulf War I President Bush drew a line in the sand with a concrete date. Be out by this date or else. We've had a bunch of tough talk from this administration, but no real line in the sand. This administration is blinking more than a first time contact lense wearer.

Well, let's see.
We (US AAF and RAF) dropped 1.2mm tons of ordinance in Europe with an average accuracy of 7% within 1,000 feet. That's 84,000 tons on target. I don't know the number for the Pacific, but let's assume its the same. Permit me to exclude Hiroshima and Nagasaki from the calculation, although that probably won't change the result by much. The result would be 168 000 tons on target in WW II.
We dropped 88 000 tons in total during Gulf I, with accuracy of about 60% plus from non-JDAM. Only 20% was JDAM there, vs. nearly 100% now. Gulf I dropped more ordinance on target in a few days than we dropped in Vietnam in eight years.
I'll wait to see the result, but I think it's entirely possible. 100,000 JDAM 2,000 pound bombs get us there, even without including too many Daisies.
