Do you suppose they can sell the 40,000 speaker desk back for about a dime on the dollar.

Maybe they can boost taxes on cigarettes again, I know have the DC Pigs bring home more pork.

Maybe Stephen King can float the state a loan.

BTW King doesn't care he is going back to Virgina.

Exactly. He worked for 8 years to bury this state. He succeeded. Now he is running tail back to Virginia.

King, an independent

Independent in the same sense that Willie Sutton was independent.

But Willie was honest about his goals.

Those SOB's are going to broaden the sales tax so we have to pay a sales tax on all services. Buy a house pay sales tax, any service, any transaction, except lawyers fees. Go see the doctor, pay sales tax.
And those rats are going to wait until after the election to do this.
Billion Dollar March, Sept 14th 10 am Augusta, with pitchforks, tar and feathers. They are getting scared.

I have NO idea. I voted NO on all of them. But I think the majority of the people in Maine do not realize that these bond issues will be coming out of our pockets in tax dollars. I can't believe they pass, election after election. :(
