In Ann Coulter's super-bestseller Slander, in the chapter titled "Samizdat Media," she desribes the conservative bestseller phenomenon, and how the media reports it as "surprise" bestsellers. It looks like we have two more bestsellers to add to the (short) list in her book! Bill Gertz's Breakdown: How America's Intelligence Failures Led to September 11, which will be released on August 25th, and Sean Hannity's Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism, which was released on Tuesday, top the Amazon Top 100 Bestseller list, which is updated hourly. If you haven't bought or reserved your copy yet, please do so, whether it's from Amazon or some other bookseller. Actually, Gertz and Hannity's books are this month's featured selections for the Conservative Book Club. The two are available as a highly discounted package together (for about $35), down from a retail price of almost $54 together! Join the Conservative Book Club, which is part of Regnery's publishing group, if you haven't already. Help support a conservative business. You can join online.
Also in the top 10 of the bestseller list is Ann Coulter's book Slander, which is at #5, and Lisa Beamer's new book, Let's Roll: Finding Hope in the Midst of Crisis.

Support conservative authors! We need to keep on proving Ann's point with the conservative media. I went to Borders tonight to look for Sean's book, and there were only 2 copies left in the whole store!! Sean, as much as he has "criticized" FR, he was good enough to mention us on page 271 of his book. In my opinion, a good conservative is a well-read conservative. Keep on reading FReepers!

Of course she's not an atheist! We knew that from the getgo. The Beamers have a strong Christian faith. Her husband helped win the first battled in the war against terrorism. May his soul rest always in peace, and may God's healing be on Lisa always.

Less and less leftis/liberal are able to read. The left is intellectually eating their own, and our, children.

Last night at the Sean Hannity Booksigning in metro Atlanta, I stood next to a woman who was thrilled to be at the signing with her 25 year old son. She was equally thrilled to tell us she'd already bought her ticket to attend a Lisa Beamer speech and booksigning next month at The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.

I am also impressed by Lisa Beamer, and I intend to get her book. I read an excellent excerpt from it -- probably on FR. Now that the word is out that she is a religious Christian, however, I don't expect her to get too many face-to-face interviews on tv.

On the Amazon homepage, click on the books link, which is to the left of the page. On the books homepage, you will see, on the right, if you scroll down, the top 10 of the top 100. You can then click on a link to see the entire top 100 list.

I would disagree with that. But from what i saw of her Larry King interview after the publicity from the book is over then i think she'll return to real life and dedicate herself to raising her family. Point being I think most people who heard her pretty much knew she was a Christian.
