doesn"t matter what I chose to believe. Any information that could in the least way aid the enemy is IMHO wrong. From any source.
OPSEC/COMSEC is real

Inhofe sits on both the Senate Armed Services Committee, AND the Select Committe on Intelligence. In other words, he has access to a lot of sensitive material. This "leak" is definitely unethical, and, very possibly, illegal. Which is why I believe there's no basis of truth to his claim, because he knows better than to blurt something of this magnitude out if it were true. It is, in all likelihood, more ratcheting of Saddam in order to get a reaction from him in the form of a triggering event for us to take action. Besides, the logistical realities don't match up with the phrase "fairly soon and "imminent". To me, that means less than 30 days.

"I heard someone else say this, imminent, the other day too. "I think one of the members of Iraq rock group, Kristol, Perle and the Pundits leaked it first a few months ago.

Then if Saddam knows it, why say it again.
I keep remembering something about this in Vietnam, the enemy knew our missions before our guys did.

Senator InHofe (R-OK): Bush will order iraq attack 'fairly soon', attack is 'immenent'. I hoped they filmed him or recorded him actually saying this. This is by definition, treason.
Before anyone says otherwise imagine if someone blurbed on national news that we were planning to invade Normandy.

Clarification: The senator said he tought an attack would come 'fairly soon' after John Gibon of Fox News said he had said in 30 days. Then he said the attack was coming.

This is all disinfo.....we won't launch before 9/11.
Seriously Saddam has to be running so scared right now it isn't funny.
He will not see the hammer as it fall's.

I say "fairly soon" when my mother asks when I'm going to visit her. I say the same thing to my mother! Unfortunately, my mother-in-law's visits are always "imminent."

I call it on 9/11/02. That Salman Pak training center that NewsMax reported about makes it pretty obvious Iraq was an accessory.

Don't believe it. Bush has made it clear he will consult congress and probably seek a resolution to attack. I don't think he has done that. I think Imhofe is off base. Surely he is not a dunce enough to make a statement like that based on classified material. I just can't think we can get a resolution from congress before Sept, late Sept. My thought is that Bush is delaying and delaying. My hunch is we won't invade Iraq,,don't know why, just doesn't seem like Bush is in any hurry. And I trust him and his team.

ironic that I clicked on this when I did... Sen Inhofe is getting ready to talk to my local radio talk guy here in Tulsa, and it sounds as if they are going to ask him about it. I will listen and try to report back ASAP (may be tomorrow).

"Seriously Saddam has to be running so scared right now it isn't funny. He will not see the hammer as it fall's." IF Iraq funded, planned, or trained any involvement in the 9/11 attacks, then the devastation that we paste onto that sorry nation will make the sacking of Carthage, the firebombing of Dresden, and the nuking of Hiroshima look meek and gentle in comparison...

Every day we see that we have attacked one of Saddam's radar site's....we are in the process of making him blind.

I think the murder of Abu Nidal shows how panicked Saddam is.

"isn't InHofe the guy whose propeller fell off?"
Yes, and ever since then his beanie gives him little lift.

It's funny though..everyone has said we are going to attack Iraq..except for Bush. He hasn't said a word either way just that Saddam is outta there. I'm sure his decision has been made and right now he's just playing politics and seeing who he can count on and who to get out of the loop.
He's setting them up like a line of tin ducks at a sideshow shooting range!
