President Bush continued his working vacation today in Crawford, TX where he continued doing what he enjoys most- working outside. Bush will be hosting a 'military transformation' meeting on Wednesday, which will be attended by Vice President Dick Cheney, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard Myers and White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card. Condi Rice is also expected to attend. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
Honorary Quote of the Day: (spoken to Bush from Horowitz) Your heart is where America is. Trust it and you'll be right. Which he knows anyway, and which is why we have trusted him with our fates. ~ David Horowitz from In Bush Country
Tonight is post a silly/funny picture of the President! Thanks to hoosierpearl for the idea!
It's time to post your favorite silly/funny picture of the President! Let's have some fun (since most are probably going through withdrawl...)
Psalm 52
The End of the Wicked and the Peace of the Godly
To the Chief Musician. A Contemplation of David when Doeg the Edomite went and told Saul, and said to him, "David has gone to the house of Ahimelech."
1 Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man?
The goodness of God endures continually.
2Your tongue devises destruction,
Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3You love evil more than good,
Lying rather than speaking righteousness.Selah
4You love all devouring words,
You deceitful tongue.
5God shall likewise destroy you forever;
He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place,
And uproot you from the land of the living.Selah
6The righteous also shall see and fear,
And shall laugh at him, saying,
7"Here is the man who did not make God his strength,
But trusted in the abundance of his riches,
And strengthened himself in his wickedness."
8But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God;
I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
9I will praise You forever,
Because You have done it;
And in the presence of Your saints
I will wait on Your name, for it is good.
President Bush's heart is indeed, where the country's heart is.
Miss Marple - I thought of you reading the DAvid Horowitz essay today. How much we needed this today. Thank GOD for David Horowitz!!!!
Here is my non-funny, very non-offensive post - because every Dose needs a Jeans picture - and this one, cute from an earlier dose - always makes me laugh! (cute whoever did it!)
