I really don't think she will run, but if she does I would welcome it. There's simply no way we can lose if she puts her face in there. She has no chance of winning the Presidency on the national level, and I doubt she has any real chance of winning the Democratic nomination. But if she ran, she would surely stir and muck things up in the Democratic primaries, and that spells everything good for the GOP. It would be like Al Sharpton multiplied by 10, and the pockets of Republican contributers would open accordingly.

Amen. I might even ask Alec Baldwin for his unused ticket. (Just kidding)

If she did run, it would be "once more into the breach dear friends" time - hounding this vicious harpy on every step of her slime soaked trail is a dire necessity.

NAME RECOGNITION?
Adolf Hitler probably has 100% name recognition, but it is not in a positive sense, similar to Hitlery!

Mr. Bossie has been reading Freeper threads.

While he hits on the key factors of various windows being open for a limited time (and the absolute necessity of derailing Gore), he is much too polite and omits the blackmail factor. The Bubba Rex machine has a plethora of intel gathered during their eight-year scam in the White House - and the value of the information only deteriorates over time. Sooner or later, some Republicans might decide to step out and fight (wouldn't that be novel?!), or a Dem questioning the divine right of Hillary Regina might come forward, or ...

H.R. must move now. I don't agree that it has to be the POTUS play. VPOTUS can work, with less risk in the event of a loss, and if she pulls that off - the trip to the oval office is just a walk in the park away (guess which park?).

Politics is a brutal business of name identification, money and organization. Today, Mrs. Clinton has all three of these at her fingertips...

Criminality is a brutal business of lies, deceit, fraud, rape, (murder) by not answering questions, not being held accountable and enabling propagandists. Today Mrs. Criminal has her fingerprints on all of these elements.

This means that a majority of women in America will vote for her just so they can have their first female President.

This is a very depressing thread. Perhaps it is time for a different point of view - from a short history lesson.

Does anyone remember the period of time after Bobby Kennedy was killed? Well, I see some parallels to the Kennedy so-called MYSTIQUE and what we have now with the Xlintons.

Every election cycle, beginning in 1968 and lasting until 1980 we had Teddy "poised to run for the presidency". I'm sure untold millions of dollars was raised by the GOP- scaring Republicans and conservatives simply by mentioning his name in fundraising letters. We were going to have Kennedys as far as the eye could see. (Fortunately for us, the Xlintons haven't been as fruitful and multiplied to the extent the Kennedys have).

Well, what happened. After many false starts and missed opportunities, Teddy finally made his best bid for the presidency in 1980 (by challenging a sitting president in his own party no less). And what did he do? He literally self-destructed on national TV. I forget which lapdog anchorperson was doing the interview, but even he couldn't make Teddy's drunken, incoherent babblings make sense. Call it divine intervention perhaps, but we were spared a Teddy presidency (he's just been left to plague us in the Senate. That's another story)

So there's hope. Would Xillary ever self-destruct on national TV like Teddy did? Probably not - but the more she is exposed (and she would be by a national campaign) her inherent character flaws (of which there are many) might come to light. Even to her die hard, brain dead followers.

We must continue to be on-guard, ever vigilant. A Xillary presidency WILL destroy what's left of this country. Also, the percentage of brain dead in the electorate is higher now than in 1980. But she can be defeated.

We must work hard, fight hard.

And pray for Divine intervention.

This also illustrates that the fight for Gore to steal the 2000 election from Bush was not so much about Gore as it was about keeping Hillary's chances high.

Uh, I'm a NY voter...I don't recall Her Heinous ever saying anything about only considering the Vice Presidency. What the devil does that mean anyway? That she'll be Veep and Sen at the same time if elected? If not, she'd be Veep and would leave the Senate seat as vacant as if she'd been (shudder) elected Prez.

Note to the Washington Times: Huh???

Yeah, inevitable. Kinda like death and taxes. And bowel-movements.

Many thanks for the post.

David Bossie certainly knows what he is talking about. His efforts in 1992 to warn us of the effects of a Clinton presidency got lost in the Perot/Media maelstrom. HRC has the ambition, money, organization, and name id. All that is left is the window of opportunity. Circumstances may well result in her taking the VP slot, but after watching her for 25 years in Arkansas, 20 of which were in Hope, I know her well, and her ambition is as large or larger than Bill's. I do not believe she wants to wait for 2008 or beyond.

I believe HRC's most powerful running mate is dependent upon this years race in California. A Davis/Clinton or Clinton/Davis ticket would be very formidable.

Timing is a critical factor in Presidential politics. Due to the compression of the DEM primaries in 2004, HRC will have to catch or surpass Gore in the polls by next summer. I believe she is working toward this goal now with behind the scenes efforts, campaigning for candidates nationwide complete with contributions, re-positioning her image as a centrist with media complicity, and contending with Daschle and Gore to become the party's leading critical voice.

Should she succeed, Gore will implode quickly as the DEM apparatus is already desirous of another candidate, only the grassroots remain to be persuaded.

Should Davis lose to Simon this fall, the equations will change dramatically for a possible HRC VP candidacy. It is difficult to imagine Gore asking her to be on his ticket, but it is easy to conceive Lieberman doing so. But such a ticket would be unbalanced regionally, though so was 1992's, and the PC quality of a Jewish/Woman or Woman/Jewish combination would make to 2004 race a watershed event in American history. Just what Hillary has always dreamed of. Remember she began as a Goldwater Girl.

A win-win situation for HRC, for even a devastating loss would seal her place in history as a galvanizing force for the feminist-socialist left.

In short, watch California closely, watch Bush carefully, and for God's sake, NEVER take your eye of HRC.
