I agree 100%. As a matter of fact, I plan on calling my representatives on Monday and giving them an earful. As humorous as this spectacle was, it was also very scarry. I've followed the Mugabe tyranny and have been outraged. These thugs are of the same ilk and need to be shouted down at the very least with a ZERO tollerance attitude, but I'd much prefer to see them arrested for inciting violence.

The largest problem is that the "mainstream" media is VERY quick to give a moron like this a forum, and just as quick to marginalize me and others like me. Until that changes, we're stuck with idiots like this being stuck in front of the first camera that comes along.

You know how it is - if there's someone trying to immolate himself, and someone who is speaking in a scholarly fashion on two opposite street corners, who is the camera gonna show? Right the guy on fire...

I'll be blunt also, I'm something of an oddity - there are quite a few British people who are as right wing as I am, but few are willing to broadcast their opinions. And particularly on an American board. I just fell into it here because the whole impeachment thing really made me angry - I couldn't stand Weird Bill.

I must be one of the only white boys who rides the Route C (North Broad) bus. There is a significant percentage of blacks whose every other word f**k or such, in what seems the most angry tone while taking to their friends!

It's not just a white thing ... I think it is a poor urban thing. Growing up I had one buddy whose dad spoke the same way. Every thing angry, and every other word f**k. I takes while to get used to.

And it is a lousy way to talk. I've brought it up -- told folks they could use better language -- a few times -- takes some assertiveness and daring to do so, one might think, but actually the response I've gotten so far is sheepish -- they get embarassed and stop. For awhile at least.

Pleased to meet you, mate. There are a number of Brits Aussies, Kiwis, and Canucks who are regulars at Assaultweb.net. They even have their own forums on the board. When I took my CCW class here in Florida I heard the same speech from my instructor, who was a Brit.
