CRAWFORD, Texas (CNN) -- With some top Republicans expressing doubts about the administration's planning for Iraq, President Bush said Friday he will use the latest intelligence to make up his mind about how to deal with Saddam Hussein. Continues.

Have yet to take a position regarding Iraq? Haven't made up your mind yet where you stand? Still not quite sure if you're for or against toppling Saddam?

Outstanding rant.

You left out Scowcroft's brilliant coup de grace: MORE INSPECTIONS!

Yup. The good general knows Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, is nuts enough to use 'em, and may be getting close to nukes as well. He even knows that inspections did not work last time.

But THIS time we would mean it!

Absolutely brilliant, John!

I see that yet another great military mind has joined the ranks (boy! isn't that an appropriate word?!) of the Generals Opposed to the War with Iraq ..... Susan Sarandon.

How did this country ever win other wars before such great leaders arose?

Btw, the Quote of the Day is great, too.

My dislike of Franks comes from the lies he and other american generals told about Kosovo. I understand that they were acting on the orders of a draft dodging, liberal, anti war socialist who managed to become the P of the USA. But it still doesnt make it right.

Thanks for letting me know.

I don't remember Franks from Kommander Klinton's Krieg, but I sure remember the other General, whose name escapes me. I didn't like him for the same reasons you state re: Tommy Franks.

However, I cut them both a little slack, as it was Slick pulling their strings.

What counts, for me, is how Franks is handling the job today. I give him high marks.

That's right. Wesley Clark. He's on tv doing the usual drill. I remain...distrustful of him.

Distrustful of my memory, too. Couldn't remember his name to save my life. Good grief.

......Listen to the people who danced and pranced
and celebrated in the streets when the towers fell.

Cowards Dancing in Street Over Terror Attack

"Thousands of Palestinians celebrated today's terror attacks in the United States, chanting 'God is Great' and distributing candy to passers-by. . . . In the West Bank town of Nablus, about 3,000 people poured into the street shortly after the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the government targets in Washington. Demonstrators distributed candy in a traditional gesture of celebration. Several Palestinian gunmen shot in the air, while other marchers carried Palestinian flags.

"Nawal Abdel Fatah, 48, wearing a long black dress, threw sweets in the air, saying she was happy because 'America is the head of the snake, America always stands by Israel in its war against us'. Her daughter Maysoon, 22, said she hoped the next attack would be launched against Tel Aviv. In traditionally Arab East Jerusalem, there was a smaller gathering of about two dozen people, many of them young children led in chants by adults. Some drivers passing the scene honked their horns and flashed victory signs from their windows."

LOL Bump!

Good piece, John.

How's about Gen. Bill Press?

Look, he may be a political commentator, but don't let that fool you. Beneath that goofy, geeky, dorky, cartoonish facade, lies a military genius, a true oracle on war and peace.

Beneath that goofy, geeky, dorky, cartoonish facade, lies a goofy, geeky, dorky cartoon character...

5) Forget that Saddam is blatantly violating the terms and conditions of a ceasefire. No big deal.

6) Trust weapons inspections. We all know how good that worked for 10 years, right?
