Thanks for posting -- I had not heard that! LIE question them -- no way! Mr. voice of the Senate or whatever they call him never met a RAT he didn't support or like!

Ans I hope like mad that you are right!

Think someone should be investigating Citigroup but then that would include Rubin and we cannot have that, can we?
Hope everyone else on here gets as mad as I feel toward the RATS in Congress so they will go out and work to throw as many of them out as we can.
My hope is to toss the RATs and then to groom good conservative candidates to start taking the place of some RINO's.
BTW, I am touting Senator Don Nickles (R-OK) as the next Majority Leader of the Senate. Conservative and doesn't back down!

When Rubin's name is mentioned, the RATS go ballistic. They say there is NO evidence that he did ANYTHING wrong. Guess this same line of thought doesn't apply to Bush and Cheney. By the way - I agree with you that if we take control of the Senate and keep the House, our President will take a turn to the right. That is his true nature to start with. Again, thanks for a really good post! Take back the Senate!!!!

Thanks. Nope, Bush-Cheney don't waste time. And from the looks of that, the talk of Bush getting another V.P. to run with him is bunk! I hope so, anyway. I was disappointed when Cheney said he wouldn't run for Prez in '96! I was reddy to vote for him!

Republicans championed equal rights for all Americans and, in particular, for African-Americans. The GOP passed the 13th amendment banning slavery, the 14th amendment extending the Bill of Rights to the states, and the 15th amendment according voting rights to African-Americans. Think about how few people beyond Free Republic know this.
well guess who runs BIG MEDIA and BIG EDUCATION LOL

Meek --
I was ready to vote for Cheney in 1996 also. I ran out of candidates in a hurry -- Phil Gramm dropped out, Cheney dropped out, and I really didn't like what was left!
Thanks for the pictures!

Yeah, but we finally got a good one in there now. Thanks for posting this article!

"My husband and I find strength in the word of the Lord, and we realize the power that prayer has in our own lives," Laura Bush said.
"I'm truly blessed to be married to a man who's strong enough to bear the burdens and humble enough to ask God for help." Link
.. "A great people must spend time on bended knee, in humility, searching for wisdom in the presence of the Almighty."
Prayer, the president said, "sweeps away bitterness and heals old wounds. Prayer leads to greater humility and a more grateful spirit. It strengthens our commitment to things that last and things that matter. It deepens our love for one another."
A Prayer for Holy Week
President Bush's Message for the Holidays:
... Mr. Bush said, "faith brings confidence that failure is never final, and suffering is temporary, and the pains of the earth will be overcome. We can be confident, too, that evil may be present and it may be strong, but it will not prevail."

Perfect, hardly...but we went up against the most powerful propagandists in history and won. That's a miracle that I am very grateful for after listening to the left, our profs, pols and press post-9-11, not to mention the 700,000 NGO mostly leftist busybody mischief makers opining, consorting with our enemies almost daily and counter-manding current US policy around the world.
The Amish are looking mighty good....but then there's Osama and Hillary and McAuliffe and PP, NOW, ABC, CNN, Michael Moore, Noam Chomsky, the non-leftists around the world who are looking to us for strength - in No. Korea, China, Indonesia, England, France, etc. I'm in. (^:

Maybe because Louisiana Republicans tend to take their advice from the RNC instead of listening to the people in Louisiana. The only viable state-wide Republicans run for governor not the senate. I live in Louisiana now. I don't think Landrieu is going to have it as easy as some think. President Bush is VERY popular in Louisiana, and many people are seeing Congress, esp the Senate, as a bunch of do nothing obstructionists.

Boy, do I miss Ronald Reagan.
Of course you do realise that he probably would do the same thing (ie create the Department of Homeland Security.)
