This is my favorite morning thread! Thanks for all the information, the background of all these wonderful Freepers, the Pledge, the graphics, the family photos and your time in putting it altogether! Brightens my day.

I looked at the Pledge today as everyday and I must tell you this is the best one yet...

The heritage/legacy that we were given by those who have gone before us will be turned over to those who come after us - the children of this country represented by the little girl.

The picture also reminded me of Christian J. at our last meeting leading a group of adults and other children in the Pledge of Allegience. He isn't my child, but I am as proud of him and the other children that were there that day as if they were my own.

Freedom isn't Free, you have to work for it.
