I looked at the Pledge today as everyday and I must tell you this is the best one yet...
The heritage/legacy that we were given by those who have gone before us will be turned over to those who come after us - the children of this country represented by the little girl.
The picture also reminded me of Christian J. at our last meeting leading a group of adults and other children in the Pledge of Allegience. He isn't my child, but I am as proud of him and the other children that were there that day as if they were my own.
Freedom isn't Free, you have to work for it.
