It's just an internet forum.

It amazes me how worked up the AFers get, but it's understandable in some ways, since some of them swing on loose hinges.

However, why the hell do folks here visit those sites (I'm speaking, of course, to those Freepers whose hinges are screwed on tight).

Suggestions:

1. Take a walk.
2. Buy a puppy.
3. Take in a movie.
4. Do volunteer work.

But if you choose to visit those sites, don't come back here and cry "they're so mean!". As Anna said, it's just an internet forum.

I have a great deal of respect and admiration for what you have accomplished with FR. Thank you for your dedication and Patriotism.

The AFers are a sad lot and it seems the LP founders are trying to contain their vitriol. Not EVERYone who posts at LP are hateful and that needs to be stated.

We have enough FReeples onboard here who are vengeful. Their posts of personal attacks are unfortunate and negates what you are trying to do. It makes me ashamed.

SP, you're correct ... this is just an internet site, albeit a darn great one, and that should be kept in perspective ... by EVERYone.

What is AF? I keep seeing it written but don't know what it stands for. There have been a few rather mean threads here on FR during the last months. People hurling insults, name calling, even a few subtle and not so subtle threats. This often happens on threads dealing with Israel. It's becoming one of those almost-too-hot-to-handle topics.
