[history]
Was a hot time in the old town tonight. Temps running in the high 90s, but with overcast and high humidity and an occasional breeze it was fine FReepin weather. We had thirteen patriots present tonight to oppose approximately the same number of cowardly traitors on the other side.
Freepers present were:
- Jim, Chris and Sheila Robinson
- JustAmy
- FriendAnn
- Gracie1
- Chadsworth
- Ladyinred
- Saundra Duffy
- Lager
- Mama_Bear
- jkphoto
- Maccabee-AJB
Tonight the traitors must have gotten tired of Saundra Duffy and Lager because they started packing up at 6:10 instead of 6:30. I wonder if they were paid until 6:30. Saundra yelled things like .... you're not a man so join the Taliban; coward; traitor, USA USA; and we support the troops. One motorist stopped at the signal on their side of the street, opened his door, stood up and gave them the 1 finger salule. I'm not sure what he was yelling at them but as he drove away, he started honking and gave us a thumbs up. They had some new signs, hopefully ladyinred can get the exact wording but the most obnoxious one was about spilling red Iranian blood for black Iranian oil to get black coffin dripping red American blood on American soil.
We enjoyed a lot of support from the motorists tonight. Chadsworth worked his magic and kept the horns honking. One guy called out to me and was pointing at a flag on his back window and then just as the light changed he hollered out, "I'm a vet!"
On the other hand one passing lady(?) gave us her IQ (or maybe it was her age?), either way it was a single digit. One other car with three young ladies stopped in the turning lane and asked if we wanted peace. I ignored her offer, and I told her that we were going to win the peace by killing the terrorists. She says, but what about all the women and children? Oh, well, I shrug, they should've thought about that before attacking us. We didn't start this war, but, by God, we're gonna end it.
All in all it was a great FReep followed by great Mexican food at the Plaza Ventanna. Thanks to all for attending and hope to see those who couldn't make it tonight, next week.

The "peace" people are not peaceful at all. They are dangerous. They'll get us all killed if they had their way. Never forget 9/11. For victory & freedom!!!

You could not believe how much stuff we had to get done this weekend. We had a "meet and greet" at our house Saturday afternoon for Dr. Andre Minuth who's running against Cal Dooley (ugh!). Minuth is a wonderful candidate; we love him. Then we had a huge birthday party for Lager's two grown kids. Had a family mob over. We were thrilled to FReep with you guys. Those nuts across the street don't like us very much, huh? Love you!! For victory & freedom!!!
To: SiFiPattie
Hi, Sis. Miss you guys! Hey, do you realize that we brought down a sitting congressman?! "We have not forgotten; Gary Condit's rotten!" For victory & freedom!!!
To: Syncro

Thanks for the ping to the thread about last Friday's FReep. I have missed you guys so much. FReeping's in my blood, I tell ya!
My mother-in-law's 80th birthday party was a blast but I am so glad to be home. I am going through some serious FReeping withdrawals. See you all next Friday!
To: Saundra Duffy
The three young girls that Jim mentioned were most likely the products of little to no information about what 'peace' really means at this time. They probably get most of their opinions from top-forty radio.
Keep up the good work!
To: AntiJen
Mash my HornMay I take your " horn honk" with me next friday? I had some problems with some of the motorists that just would not honk. Now if they don't honk, I will be able to honk for them!!!
aint that a neat idea?
