I discovered I'm Normasexual. What do I get for that besides ridicule?

Why ridicule? What's wrong with Norma that people would ridicule you for being attracted to her?

Shalom.

But no, you won't get any money for that. Now... say you discovered a propensity for furniture... you might make some headway.

That rather depends on the size of the drill-bit doesn't it?

OK. I'll shut up!

Shalom.

What if Khep developed a propensity for singing fish........I know a few people who have. :)

What I did or did not do with that fish in the privacy of my own home is nobody's business but my own. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that Bill Clinton heard about it and asked for my autograph.

Shalom.

Also, at least I look into the information, unlike you who just criticizes from the bleacher benches.

Looking up information is good. Now it's time to learn how to filter it.

Shalom.

Arg, not only is your secret safe with me (hehe), but I will defend your right to privacy to my dying breath.

And as far as I'm concerned, what you did with your electric fish doesn't necessarily make you a bad person. :)

Your profound research efforts have brought forth a wet one. Open a window, please.

I already do that.

I saw a very ugly woman at QT in CR Ia last month. Then it started talking and I realized what it was. They are even wierder than normal sodomites.

What's an impartial party?

A person who doesn't care either about it.

I don't think JMJ is being at all childish.

Then go back and reread his posts, a couple of them could be considered flames.

There is a direct connection between immoral behaviors such as bestiality and acting out on gender confusion,

I have already pointed out in post 26, how those are two separate issues.

just as there is a disconnection between those two. People who need help should be help, not condemned to their sickness.

Do you mean sickness as living in misery? Or do you mean sickness as living at peace with yourself?

Since there are "transgendered" people who are helped by therapy, I would suggest that this is the better approach.

By all means speak up and list alternatives, but keep in mind of what I already listed in post 26 that does NOT work.

Of course, what passes for a therapist these days may make the entire issue problematic. Therapists need to be grounded in reality, a concept which seems to escape the APA these days.

Just keep in mind that you cannot be grounded in reality if you base your opinions on ignorance.

"Now tell me, are you so shallow that you want to force someone (who is transgendered) to live their entire life in misery (when there is something that can be done about it), while you live your entire life, at peace with yourself?"

If they want to wear clothes of the opposite sex on their own time (meaning they don't cause a scene at work or at school) or if they want to get an operation that THEY pay for (not me, nor any other insured or tax payer), AND if they are willing to use the proper EXISTING restroom for the genetalia they were born with or elected to have, then I say GO FOR IT! If they want me to be inconvenienced in any way so they can feed their perversion, then forget it.

"the penis is NOT whacked off, but inverted."

Sounds easy, but think about the physiology for a few minutes. It's not as though the doctor just takes his finger and pushes on the end of the penis until it's turned inside out.

'trial and error' medical accounts

So what you are saying is, this is based on anecdotal evidence rather a single, objective entity gathering data on multiple patients? If my understanding of your post 64 is incorrect, please expound.

Transgender Law Making Strides

Oh WHEW, I am SO relieved, because you know, I lie in my bed every night tossing and turning and worrying about the transgendered in this country and whether they're being properly advantaged under our current legal system...

Or mebbe it was just those damn beans I had the night before...

How do you know that "doing something about it" (by which I presume you mean surgery, or reparations, or somesuch nonsense) will address that misery? How do you know that these outward changes will effect peace in their lives? How do you know that these behavioral tendencies don't stem from something else... e.g., to use the crudely vernacular, just being plain F-ED UP?

The studies are so bias one way or the other that they can not be trusted. And I have read studies that are on both sides of the extremes on this issue (transgender).

When I took that into account I realized that direct medicals (trial and error) accounts are the most reliable information I that I could get a hold of.
