Good morning Billie! My week was good, I got caught up on some things that I needed to do around here. This is such a busy time of year, so much to do and so little time to do it in.
How was your week?

It is so good to have this thread. My daughter, Beastieanne, has finished her internship with Army JAG and is now running around Europe with one of her sisters, who we call Chrissypoo. Taking the old world by storm. Beastie was on base at Hanau and I expect lots of pics of heros when she gets back. Bless the FReepers finest and all of our military, active and retired. We love and pray for you every day.

Hi, Paul. Good morning to you! That's one of my favorite sun graphics. I love the birds flying across the screen.

Morning, Aqua. Mine was good, too. Another pretty graphic, pretty Monarch butterfly. Love the song.
I have to laugh at myself right now - I was wondering why the 3 bears graphic above was a LINK, and noticed that everything below Alas Babylon's name is a LINK, too! YIKES! I forgot to close that tag - good thing JohnRob DID do what he did to us, or we'd still be linking our comments to Alas Babylon's thread!

Hi, Bahbah, thank you, and good morning! When you do get some photos of Beastieanne, would love to add hers to the next group of vets, active military for this thread. Have a wonderful weekend. :)

Good morning, Billie. I thought I'd share that Eric has pulled his hamstring, so can't march or run for 5 days, and has asked for prayer. I know he's been supported by prayer by the fine FReepers here, so I thought I'd pass that along.
I also thought I'd share this great e-mail I got a few days ago. Forgive me if it's been posted, but I loved it!
THE SNEEZE They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-three students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt. Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and moms freely brushed away tears.
This class would not pray during the commencements ... not by choice but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.
The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families. The speeches were nice, but they were routine... ......... until the final speech received a standing ovation.
A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment,
and then he delivered his speech.... an astounding SNEEZE!
The rest of the students rose immediately to their feet, and in unison they said ...
"GOD BLESS YOU."
The audience exploded into applause. The graduating class found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future ... with or without the court's approval.
GOD BLESS AMERICA . __________________________________________________

Hi, Ohio. So sorry about Eric's injury - that's sure not fun, and we'll certainly remember him in prayer.
I hadn't received that email, but love it! That was some very clever thinking!!

Sorry to hear about Eric, that is pretty painful isn't it? Bless his heart, our prayers are with him.
The Sneeze is great, I hadn't seen that before. I have read in old history type books, that the reason people say "God Bless You" when someone sneezes is that they used to think that every time you sneeze an evil spirit leaves your body!
I guess Demoncrats take too many antihistamines huh? We need to sprinkle pepper all over them! :)

Hi, Aeronaut, thanks for always flying over in the li'l red plane! :) It's nice you have a couple to choose from! LOL

It's easy to forget to turn that active link off. I forget sometimes but so far have always been able to catch it before I post.

Thanks for your prayers for Eric. We should hear from him tomorrow. Now that he's in 'Blue phase' he has quite a bit more freedom, and 15 minutes for his phone calls instead of just 2!! He doesn't have to talk as fast as that guy in the TV ads a few years back (what was his name?) to get all the stuff in that he wants to tell us. :o)
About that e-mail.......Eric practically preached a sermon at his graduation, with total approval of the administration. It's not so bad everywhere, that you have to be quite so 'creative' to invoke God's blessing on your class.
