WOW, today is my FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY at Free Republic !

I registered on Free Republic 4 years ago today, and that was after lurking for 6 months or so.

Free Republic remains the top internet site for news and opinion. I haven't become bored with it, I haven't found anything better, and I am still addicted.

The Free Republic forum is an incredible and valuable source of news, information, links, and the posters (by and large) are knowledgable and entertaining. Here's to another 4 years ( of George Bush and Free Republic)

Congrats. Today is my 8-year wedding anniversary, and my sentiments are the same.

:-)

Mine is easy to remember, because last year that date was the IAC folk's rally that we wrote about.

FRILLIONS of old timers like you and me are leaving here in mass exodus style??? >

mebbe some of us are just to stupid to leave....or perhaps.......just perhaps.........this is the right forum....for all of us miscreants who have the undeniable audacity to stand for up our Constitution.

We cannot, and will not agree with each other, all the time.....but we have been given the right to debate, salient and intelligent issues by people who had the foresight 200+ years ago to recognize that a Free Republic will stand strong against the onslaughts of others who would have us subservient to autocratic rule.

We are imperfect....perhaps never to be allowed perfectiion.....yet to be granted the opportunity to explore, examine, and correct our foibles, mistakes, and innacuracies....must surely attest to the design of a great experiment....which is apparently succeeding.
