Awwwww.....Monday Mail Call. You could rip my heart out, jump up and down on it and it wouldn't feel any different. I love these guys and ladies so much. I wish I could hooch and smug every single one of them...squeeze them till I cut the circulation off. LOL ('scuse me while I grab a tissue and swallow a sip of coffee to get this lump out of my throat).

Hey y'all, I have not been feeling well the past two weeks. I have a painful muscle condition which has actually been doing great for awhile now. But for some sad reason it has flared up again and I can hardly sit here for 5 minutes without feeling like I want to jump off a bridge from the pain. Sitting here is very bad for it. I'm not saying good bye, because I will NEVER leave our troops or my friends in here. I'm just going to have to slow down until I get better. Sitting here literally makes me sick.

I'm going to pop in here as the day goes by to write my letters to the troops when I get a break or two. But if you see me sitting here for too long, please tell me to make like a tree and leave. I've got to get better, because a mother in pain is not a good mother and my kids need me.

PS: I think I've found a secret to losing weight. I spent two days at a homeschooling convention and I lost 10 Lbs. I kid you not. I weighed myself yesterday and the scale said I lost 10 pounds. I kicked it and checked it, etc. DH said, "Don't fight it honey". ROFL! So I guess getting off the computer, walking around, lugging a 20 Lb back pack seems to be the trick to weight loss. Woohoo!

It's a very nice way to begin the week, reading the incoming mail.I am glad that the Canteen offers a respite for those fighting for our freedoms, and may it continue to do just that.

The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all of the
background checks, interviews, and testing were done there were three
finalists, two men and a woman.

For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a large
metal door and handed him a gun. "We must know that you will follow
our instructions, no matter what the circumstances.
Inside this room, you will find your wife sitting in a chair.
Kill her. The man said, "You can't be serious. I could never shoot my
wife." The agent said, "Then you're not the right man for this job."

The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun
and went into the room. All was quiet for about five minutes. Then the
man came out with tears in his eyes. "I tried, but I can't kill my wife."
The agent said, "You don't have what it takes. Take your wife and go
home."

Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same
instructions, to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the
room. Shots were heard, one shot after another. They heard screaming,
crashing,
banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet.
The door opened slowly and there stood the woman. She wiped the
sweat from her brow and said, "You guys didn't tell me the gun was
loaded with blanks. I had to beat him to death with the chair."

Randy USMC.....It makes my heart feel good when I hear from all of you how much the support at the canteen means to you guys. It's nothing really. We do it with great joy and a lot of love. It's nothing compared to the "support" you give us, by your unselfish dedication to your job.....keeping us safe, keeping our constitution alive and keeping my family and friends alive. Kevin USMC.....Kevin, OMGosh, I'm just sick for you. My heart........ugh........I have no words. I'm sitting here shaking my head. I hate evil. I promise you I will pray hard for your poor parents who lost their baby girl. I'll pray for your healing too. Life is so unfair sometimes, I could just scream with rage. It just not right. I suppose it's lame and no comfort at all to tell you, your sister is sitting in the Lord's lap right now, and he is reading her a bed time book and singing her a sweet song. I can also promise you, knowing all the wonderful, loving, compassionate people on this board, that they will pray for you too. I'm so sorry Kevin. Hang in there. We are here if you need us. Don't ever hesitate to write Snow Bunny or any of us. We'll drop everything and write you back. God love you. Please send love to your parents from me.
