President Bush and First Lady Laura welcome Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and his wife, Jolanta, to only the second State visit since Bush was sworn in. Bush and his colleague also answered a round of questions from reporters, including more questions to the President regarding his tenure at Harkin oil. The President and his guests attended the State dinner this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

What does going bare foot tell you?

Well--about the male dog leg raising thingie --- it is true --- (of course nobody has actually ever spoken with a dog for verification of this) ---- but, yes, they drop their urine scent all around their territory and animal experts say this is the way they claim their turf. Or perhaps they simply want others know they have been there (and done that-lol). Females in heat do this to draw attention-tho they don't necessarily hike their legs. hehe
And I would really would never want Barney in close proximity to a democrat, I would NEVER want Barney to be touched by the likes of Daschle or Gephardt....but if ol Barn were to happen to drop his scent on a few polished shoes of filthy democrats visiting his turf (that would be the White House and grounds-hehe), who could blame him?
Or perhaps such leg hiking action would mean, to Barn, that he was claiming superiority. Hehe. A kind of male dominance thingie. Something that would, of course, be obvious to all present. But dumb dems might need extra explanation. :^)

I like your explanation. That would be fine, not a waste of his time and attention.

What happened to Rumsfeld? He had an operation on his left thumb for an arthritic condition; cast will be on for about 6 weeks.

Well, there ya go! I don't either. Of course the fact that we don't have central air contributes to that too. :o(

Two questions for all well informed Freepers regarding Rumsfeld. 1. Does anyone know the reason for the cast? I haven't heard anything. 2. He used to do press conferences almost every day, but C-span doesn't have them very often. Is he doing fewer press conferences, or is C-span ignoring them?

So Barney would be absolutely right to "mark" Daschle GO BARNEY GO!!!

To: McLynnan
How are ya doing Mc? We got 3 more inches of rain today. For the first time in my life I cringe when I hear the rain coming.
