    TEL AVIV, July 17 (Reuters) - An explosion rocked a street 
in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night, causing several casualties, 
Israel Radio reported. 
    The exact cause of the blast was not immediately clear. 
Israeli security forces have been on high alert for suicide 
bombings by Palestinian militants.

     22:33 Jul-17-02, 8 Av 5762 (IsraelNN.com) Ambulances are arriving on the scene of an explosion in southern Tel Aviv's N'vei Shanan neighborhood, the area of the old central bus station. Magen David Adom emergency medical service officials are confiming there are tens of injuries. Additional confirmed details will be published as they become available.

    Fox moved on..MSNBC saying that at night this is turned into a "gathering area", tables are put out, people getting together, drinking beer, etc. Witnesses say 2 explosions.

    I thought the Israelis were going to deport and destroy the homes of the families of suicide bombers?
 These people think they have won the lottery when their murderous child blows himself to bits.
They get $30,000 from saddam for it- this money should be confiscated, arafat-head should be told that on the next explosion he's going to be taken out too. and each subsequent PL leader, until one of them gets the message and cracks down.
