President Bush submitted a formal outline for the proposed cabinet-level department of Homeland Security today in a brief ceremony outside the White House. Bush, joined by Vice President Cheney and members of Congress, called on both parties to work together to ensure that the future of America is safer than it was before September 11th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I almost hate to mention this, RWP ..... you already do so much for us and we are eternally grateful ..... in addition to posting the Dose each night, you've given us the BushBot and the "I support President Bush" thingy and all the smiley faces ..... but I have a new request for you.
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to create an "I Hate the Media" logo or character of some sort for us to paste all over the place. We have a very large contingent of media un-fans and I'm sure such a graphic would get used quite a lot.

Say that ain't so, kath. REtire and never to be seen again. Well, I call for an amendment that President bush can run for pres as many times as he wants.
What are we to do if he retires? never to be seen again (which is what I think all ex presidents should do).

Hello back atcha, MJY!
It sure makes a big difference in dealing with Eric's absence to know he's having a great time. Funny...............people are almost always surprised when they hear he loves boot camp. Wonder why? ;o)

Dubya has too much class to try to stay in the lime light and be a pain in the a$$ to his successor. He will fade into the sunset. After all what else does he need when he has Laura??

What has to be remembered about Dick Cheney and Haliburton is he was on the board and not the accountant, when he left Haliburton the company was in good standing and he placed all of his holdings in a blind trust before he bacame the VP. This is just another baseless attack on this administration that has no merit or credibility. Larry Klayman just jumped on the opportunity to get face time in the press. We all know what Judicial Watch is about. Larry Klayman is a fraud PERIOD.
Yesterday I got a survey from Judicial Watch asking for money, I filled out the survey and added my own comments (Which I can't repeat here). I doubt I will be getting any more "begging for bucks" letters from him :-)

I can just imagine how much you wished you were at Kennebunkport 2 weeks laterI have announced to Mr. Ohio that we will be in Kennebunkport over the July 4th weekend next summer! LOL!
(Actually, we'll probably be at the Grand Canyon!)
Well, at least I have pictures to prove I really was there........and what fun it was to sit on the rocks and just know that he spent time there every summer! That made it worth it!
Oh, yes.....WELCOME BACK!!

From the pictures I have seen of Eric, it's understandable he would enjoy Boot Camp. He is a big boy who appears very athletic. I can easily understand why he was picked to be squad leader. I'm sure glad he is doing so well... Prayers seem to be working :-)

I am on a self imposed news blackout right now. Bad enough the radio news opens with the evil big business is somehow Bush's fault every half hour.
The RATS are hoping the market will crash, isn't that just the most evil thing you can imagine? (well, almost, besides the terrorists of course)
To: baseballmom
Decent Democrats??? I can't think of a one. Oh and please don't anyone try to convince me Zell Miller is one. He says he objects to the way his party behaves and still remains a member of the party allowing them to hold the majority and behave the way they do. That is not a decent Democrat. He is just as guily as they are by condoning thier behavior. Rant over. Don't get me started on DemorRATS, I hate DEMOCRATS!!!!!
