President Bush submitted a formal outline for the proposed cabinet-level department of Homeland Security today in a brief ceremony outside the White House. Bush, joined by Vice President Cheney and members of Congress, called on both parties to work together to ensure that the future of America is safer than it was before September 11th. Well, I think politicians expect a certain amount of mud. I also think that President Bush is an expert in "turning the other cheek."

For those of us in the trenches it is very hard, as we take this stuff personally. President Bush has to rise abotve it, because he is charged with running the country and bringing people together in order to fight the war.

I must admit, I couldn't do it. Lieberman would be a grease spot in the parking lot, if I were in charge.

President Bush is a good and decent man. God bless him!

MamaB make sure the repair guys put all new parts in. We decided to put our big screen in the shop. When the guys delivered it there were still problems so we called them back. When we finally got the tv back, the delivery guy says "this time we used new parts". Not sure whether he was joking or not. There was a better picture. You just about have to have a degree in every subject to not get ripped off.

OH MY GOSH! What brand? Reason I'm asking cause we had a BIG SCREEN TV and we had it for 4 days when it completely went blank. It was in the shop, I'm not lying, for 3 months! We called Toshiba's headquarters and DEMANDED A BRAND NEW TV. I raised literally hell! They must have had enough of me b****ing cause they agreed to give us a brand new model which was a step up from the one in the shop.
