Came across this poem which expresses exactly how I feel about this 'friendly' thread:

A friend can be like a Teddy Bear
to hug and hold when the world
has given you all you can bare.

A hug of friendship
is an incredible feeling
which can mean a lot more
if it's given with meaning.

When the world isn't being all that nice..
and you feel like nobody could ever care..
then they'll be right here to hug and hold..
and forever be your teddy bear..

There's this thing
I like to call friendship pride
this simply means never
leaving your friends side.

Sharing your thoughts,
ideas, and goals..
while getting deep into their
hearts and souls..

Friends never make
you feel insecure
they always support
and make you feel right and pure.

Frienship is not a game
if it is, it's a game of chance,
that many times
may lead to romance..

When it's raining outside
and there's a storm and it's cold
it's always nice to have a warm
teddy bear to hold

Friends always think about each other,
sometimes maybe even twentyfour/seven,
then sometimes you encounter those
friends you think were sent from heaven.

so the next time you are feeling
like you need someone to hold
come to a true friend
with a heart of Gold.

It's great to see the sun shinning on you Summer!

Julie, I was felling under the weather today, how did you know? It felt great floating in the ocean under the sun with my "Freedom and Liberty kite" tied to my foot.
