Message from Snow Bunny to all those who visit the Canteen.

This is how I think of the USO Canteen Freeper Style.
It is like a cottage down a road,
a place where a weary veteran can spend the night.

Since it opened, it is magical how so many
Freepers who post here, feel it too.
It has been so dear how the Freepers
kept making it a cottage - a home-type of place
that had a huge living room
for them to visit in and a dance floor, a library, etc.

Many Veterans have written to me,
saying that the Canteen is like home
to them for the first time since they served.

This is your Canteen -
a respite from our busy
and sometimes troubling world.
Make yourself at home.

I know what you mean! I let my hair grow out, and now it's past my butt again. I wanted to do something new to it. It's kinda wavy on top, and a tangled mess underneath. I've had a curly perm in it for years, to "even it out," but after they shaved my head for the brain surgery, I just let it all grow back naturally again. So it's wavy on top, and a tangled mess underneath! *VBG* I have two people (Bob and my sister) pooling their money to pay for my next hair appointment, but I don't know what I want done to it?! Highlights and a trim are no-brainers, but what else??

Yayyyyyy Tonk!! Always pluggin' away!! Thank you, BTW, for the cyber-flowers every day. They are always most appreciated! I never got real ones I could actually hold and smell, though. Even when I was sick. No! Wait! Dr. Blatman sent me flowers after Dr. Rosner cut my head open. I take that back. But that was it.
