A Bush Hater's Poll
Jim Robinson
Posted on 07/10/2002 11:27:06 PM PDT by Jim Robinson
This is an unofficial quick and dirty presidential poll. Apparently, there is a good sized contingent on Free Republic that believes that President Bush is:
- Not conservative enough
- Not pro-life
- Is a gun-grabber
- Is a federal power-grabber
- Will appoint liberal judges
- Is a globalist
- Is in it just for oil
- Is too soft on immigration
- Is too soft (or too hard) on Israel
- Is a crook
- All of the above
- None of the above
- Other (you name it)
Please list the numbers that best match the reasons you don't like Bush (or state other reasons if not on the list) and state whether you believe that President Bush should be defeated even if it means installing a Democrat in the Whitehouse.
Conversely, if you believe President Bush should be re-elected, please state why.
Please state who you would like to see win the Presidency in 2004 and whether or not you believe he/she has a chance of winning.
Thanks,
Jim

... I'd like to see a man of true conviction elected. A man who would never compromise objective truth, ignore his conscience or fail to remain faithful and obedient to the self evident truths embodied in our Declaration ... limiting his authority to a just patriarchalism in the family of man, not socialist parentalism of Conditioners who lord it over the homogenous, lowest-common-denominator collective whose Diversity is celebrated only to the extent it causes folks to insist they be judged by their color, sex, sexual orientation, sentience or stage in development or decay. LOL Good luck getting that to happen, ever. I hate to burst your bubble, but there are simply no honest polticians left. You want an honest politician, see a fairy tale, or, better yet, look up the word "oxymoron" in the dictionary.
I'm not going to vote for Bush again because he's honest, but because he's obviously a better poltician than anyone realized. I just thank God he's on my side.

he really doesn't give a darn about the lives of millions of innocent babies. You are so wrong.

I respect your loyalty and allegiance to the Republican Party No you don't con man. You insult Jim by attributing "loyalty" and "allegience" to him. Those are traits desired in canines.
Jim Robinson, in my long observation, is wonderfully unpredictable. He's being politically pragmatic right now IMO. That's my deal too.
You "respect" a contrived lie? Bye.

I guess my only point in my previous posting was that now that people have an invitation by the owner of this site, to give CALM, RATIONAL and ADULT reasons why they do/do not and or would/would not support him now or in the future...it is strangely quiet. The reason for that is it is much easier to post emotion filled, scathing, thoughless barbs, than to sit and compose a constructive response. No one has facts to back up those claims, and still they say Bush should be doing things that aren't even under his control unless we want an EO president. I presonally am tired of 8 years of dictatorship anf big govt. And these people fault GW because they want more? I don't get it.

#12 None of the above
President Bush will be re elected because most of the conservatives who hate him (Yes, hate be honest with your selves you GW haters. Most of you who post the hate replies re GW, hate GW and are not honest enough with yourselves to admit it.) did not vote for him in his first election.
One can never lose anything that they didn't have in the first place.
#8 appears to be a concern of many. I just hope that this is not the tip of the iceberg of racism.
I'm not defending illegal aliens. If possible, every illegal alien should be deported.
Racism is a terrible slippery slope for mankind. When I read comments about President losing his core, that strikes me as a code word for conservatives who do not want to welcome the soccer moms, the new Jewish conservatives, the Hispanic Conservatives, the new Black conservatives and other non traditional conservatives.

1, 6 and 8 for me.

Jim Robinson, your posting of this questionaire may have been out of frustrationImpressive. I don't think I would put Jim in a box and pass judgement. I think anyone (well, most anyone) can easily discern why he posted this.
To: Tabitha Soren
but his ACTIONS demonstrate he really doesn't give a darn about the lives of millions of innocent babies. And just where did you get this idea from a man who is against abortion, who has taken steps to end government funding of foreign abortions, who made his decision on stem cell use because he did not want babies used for body parts and from a man who will try and appoint anti-abortion judges if possible?
Either you don't even know anything about this man or you are trying to pull something with lies.

You are wrong, and comically so.
Her point of view is central to the GOP.
You sound like a RINO who pays lip service to the principle of Right to Life, but basically could not care less about the issue.
Or, maybe you are pro-abortion, who knows, and who cares?
Bottom line is, Pro-Choice RINOS are the death of conservatism, and the death of the GOP.
Take away the Pro-Life stance of the GOP, and it becomes THE EXACT SAME THING as the Democratic Party...
Only the Democrats have 75 years more practice at race baiting, vote buying, vote stealing, immorality, lying, circuses-and-bread socialism, liberalism and globalism.
Bush (the King of the RINOs) and other RINOs think that they can steal Rat votes away from the Democrat Party: Foolish to think that.
The Democrat Party will always outbid the GOP when it deals with the dependent, great unwashed, freeloading, mob.
When it comes to giveaways, no way can the GOP compete with the Democrats. No way.
And in the process, the GOP gives away the family farm, its credibility, and its soul.
That is exactly why this very thread exists today.

I need to add "loyalty and allegience" to a political party in my last post. That's not him. Jim's no GOP shill.
To: Jim Robinson
Bush is the quintessential "America First" President. For that reason alone I and many others will support him again. He is not "unions first" or "UN first" or "globalism first" or "environmentialism first"; he is America first and yet he recognizes that in this post modern world, America needs to engage in order to remain viable. Clinton did not care period nor did Bush Sr. understand the post cold war world. Reagan did, but he led us out of the Cold War and that was heroically enough. GW Bush is the only one capable of restoring the blight of the Clinton years - no one else comes close.
ONe more thing: To those who want Roe v Wade overturned - you will not get that until the President appoints more conservative justices that can be approved by a more conservative Senate. That could happen soon enough but only if Bush gets reelected and if Congress becomes more conservative. Otherwise, the struggle for a pro life ruling will go on for many years to come.

...providing Hillary with free well-connected top government lawyers to defend her against well-deserved criminal charges. ???? Elaborate.

Go away fraud. You are not the GOP. Parties are a coalition of interests and priorities. All need to be malleable and negotiable.
Take a walk.

I know why he posted it....and you know why he posted it....and OTHERS know why he posted it.
The silence is deafening, isn't it??
I think the most they can come up with to answer any of the questions is that the title of the thread is mean, derrogatory, distasteful, wrong, yada yada yada.
