President Bush arrived back in Washington today, and presented the Medal of Honor to Vietnam Veteran Captain Humbert "Rocky" Versace. Late this afternoon, the President held a press conference regarding the need for Congress to support the nation's priorities. Bush also tackled questions regarding his time at Harkin as well as to what will be addressed in his speech to Wall Street tomorrow. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Here's the description for the photo reposted from Yahoo! in #424: "President Bush, left, wraps up the holiday weekend with his father, former President George H.W. Bush, right, on the 18th hole of the Cape Arundel Golf Club near the Bush family home in Kennebunkport, Maine, Monday, July 8, 2002. I heard that Sarah Jessica Parker wants to run for the Senate .. but she can't decide in which state to run .. NY or CA Mercy, this bodes badly for the nation's biz if she gets in there. They have enough trouble concentratin' as it is.

I think McCain is hoping the GOP regains a seat in the senate and he will pull a Jeffords.
I bet John McCain hates Jim Jeffords with a passion for stealing some of his thunder.

I simply cannot fathom what Poppy must feel every day of his amazing life, having retired from his own excellent career to find himself enjoying the honor of seeing his firstborn son as President of the United States. He's got to have an enormous amount of pride, but when you combine it with the probability that he and Bar wondered if W would ever settle down and make something of himself, it must be overwhelming for him!

"He said Bush was too kind, he would have had them put out of the room, if he had been there."
LOL - probably most of us would have done the same as your dad! Glad he, as a Democrat in name only, supports President Bush!

"I give thanks daily that my desparate prayer on election night was answered."
(You're welcome for the Psalm! :-) Glad it got posted last night.....because I was asleep not long after that got done......:-)
Yes, amen to the answered prayer on election night.
But the destroying lefties never rest, do they?

"They said Arafat has agreed to step down. Can you imagine how much water it will take to wipe the egg off the faces of those who said GWB was making a big mistake by ignoring Arafat and demanding a regime change?"
I saw that report. And, yet, it made nary a blip on the Bush-bashing agenda of ABCCBSNBCCNN.
The hatred is so palpable.
We must develop a strategy - a strategery if you will - to condemn the mediapuppets for their slavish allegiance to their membership in the Hillary Propaganda Puppet Machine!
I wonder if we have anybody with a graphical talent who could come up with such an award - and whenever the media do their thing - they could get zapped with 10,000 emails showing "Propaganda Puppet Machine" Medals - and then put these up all across the country on billboards.
