President Bush arrived back in Washington today, and presented the Medal of Honor to Vietnam Veteran Captain Humbert "Rocky" Versace. Late this afternoon, the President held a press conference regarding the need for Congress to support the nation's priorities. Bush also tackled questions regarding his time at Harkin as well as to what will be addressed in his speech to Wall Street tomorrow. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
I think today's press conference went very well. He answered the questions (and BOY did he give the press enough time - good idea though George!) and gave very "Rummy-esque" straight answers. I love it when George feels comfortable enough to answer the questions very straight forward. I understand it's tough to do that because the press is waiting to pounce, but strength is a beautiful thing to see from our dear President.
Again...LOVE that bit 'o color you got this weekend, dear Sir! You Go George!!!
I LOVE SPONGE BOB
I can always dream about the network newsies caring about things like major presidential addresses.
Ain't it grand ..
And SPIT they will. The RATS have lost contact with Reality, IMHO, as they have come to believe the lies they have been telling themselves all these years. The Teacher's Unions actually believe that a Centralized Federal Command Bureaucracy will eventually--given enough cash--solve the Education Crisis...despite Mountains of Evidence demonstrating that the Department of Education has been an abysmal failure by every measurement possible and needs to be disbanded immediately in favor of allowing Choice, Accountability, and Flexibility at the Local Level!!
But a lot of seemingly-nice, well-meaning teachers will still IGNORANTLY support the Union's anti-American Socialist Agenda 'cuz that's the easiest path, the one's the rest of the Sheeple follow.
Sure, the RATS will SPIT their usual venom this Autumn, but I believe a whole lotta folks are gettin' immune to its poison...MUD
I heard this one guy try to get Rush to answer his "pre-fab lib" question, and Rush wouldn't do it. Instead, Rush gave a very passionate speech. The guy was comparing George Bush to Clinton...and Rush "went off" on the guy!!! It was wonderful!!! Good job today, Rush(at least what I heard).
No .. but I heard that Sarah Jessica Parker wants to run for the Senate .. but she can't decide in which state to run .. NY or CA
BWAHAHAHA .. That is too funny
hehe
My first job in life was with Clean & Glo Dry Cleaners and we did the Redskins Laundry so I was the little brat collecting uniforms in the locker room at RFK after the game and I had a sideline view of most every game from 1972-1976. I met so many Redskins as a kid that I forgot how lucky I was until I got older. Pat Fisher was the meanest and Roy Jefferson was the nicest. We even delivered personal laundry to the player at their homes. Those were the days
Did you see Chris "No Ball" Mathews show tonight
He was talking to Donna Brazil and asked her if Pitt should resign or be fired .. she said Yes
Then he asked her of Congressman Traficant should resign or be kicked out by the Democrats and she said No
Then Chris asked her how could she support a man that was found guilty of a crime and not support a man who has no criminal background
Of course to danced around that question .. but I thought it was a pretty good one since it came from Mathews
Ahhhh....SARAH....charity begins at home!---take care of your relatives...nobody ELSE wants to pay to take care of them, darlin'.

(In the words of Jerry Seinfield) Now THAT's a show!
