President Bush arrived back in Washington today, and presented the Medal of Honor to Vietnam Veteran Captain Humbert "Rocky" Versace. Late this afternoon, the President held a press conference regarding the need for Congress to support the nation's priorities. Bush also tackled questions regarding his time at Harkin as well as to what will be addressed in his speech to Wall Street tomorrow. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

It's not worth the hassle to watch the Networks(&CNNMSNBCCNBC) spin their Socialist Web...they are exposed and unrepentant liars, and that is not a group from which we should accept our NewsOfTheWorld, IMHO!!
If it wasn't for ESPN and ProFootball Training Camps starting in a coupla weeks, I'd cancel my cable Right Now!!

I looked for McCain during that ceremony and I didn't see him. I hope GW didn't invite him. Why should he?

Thanks for calming me down. I can usually stay fairly normal about this stuff but tonight really got to me when they refused to show any clips of his explanation. They are acting like he is a criminal and making the public think that. I am feeling better now that I got most of it off my chest. :-)

Thanks, my friend. I will read it shortly. I like the title already...

Can anyone tell me any more about the ceremonty? As I understand it from the earlier post, Versace is dead. Does anyone know who received the medal for him?
Did anyone besides the president say anything about Versace?
To: Wait4Truth
Because McCain was a POW. I would bet he was invited, but chose not to go. For someone who should know better than anyone about the trials of POW's, he is amazingly missing on all their issues.

"LIEberman/mccain? daschle/mccain? clinton/mccain? kerry/mccain? edwards/mccain?"You have described the "Agony of defeat" If the GOP gets control of both Houses of Congress it will be a landslide in 2004. Hillary will have a hard time keeping her carpetbagging seat in the senate. let alone run for President. She is a stain on our history and when all the smoke clears the RATS will be facing the music

When I get sick of it all, I go to the Discovery Channel or TLC. Sometimes Lifetime if I feel like a chick movie. Glad ESPN works for you, buddy. I am a Packer fan and never miss a game (I'm in Wisconsin - bet you couldn't figure that out, huh?)

Oh, I think it should go in "the look" category too! I saw part of it; and I read about the parts I didn't see. He was trying so hard not to get impatient with those fools! One reporter kept going back to the same question over and over again. He seemed to be getting a bit exasperated, but kept his cool.
My dad is sort of a Democrat in-name-only, and a supporter of Bush's; and he said he was proud of him. He said he would have done much worse himself. He said he was getting mad just watching these jerks pestering him; he said Bush was getting a little fire in his eye, after the umpteenth time the reporters asked him about that stupid form. He said Bush was too kind, he would have had them put out of the room, if he had been there.

I read the same thing written in the Jordanian Press earlier today, They said Arafat has agreed to step down. Can you imagine how much water it will take to wipe the egg off the faces of those who said GWB was making a big mistake by ignoring Arafat and demanding a regime change?

thanks for the post and ping, rintense. I couldn't see him today...but read the thread. I kept reading he looked "pissed" at the reporters who were being stupid (as usual), harping on the Harkin thing.....at least I got to see some stills. Thanks again.
