Rape of Christian teen ignored Pakistani girl reportedly assaulted by influential Muslim landlord

The rape of a 16-year-old girl in Pakistan has been ignored by police because she is a Christian, according to Assist News Service and Christian Solidarity Worldwide.

Shakeela Siddique, a Christian from Fatewala village in the northeastern Gujranwala district, was reportedly raped by an influential local Muslim landlord in February.

According to the report, Siddique was traumatized and kept quiet about the attack. She later discovered she was pregnant and had an illegal abortion to avoid the social stigma. Subsequently, reports ANS, Siddique suffered from severe depression.

When the girl's father attempted to confront the alleged rapist, he reportedly was beaten. He told Christian Liberation Front, a Pakistani human rights group: "My everything has been ruined as my daughter is now a living corpse. No Christian in our village dares to raise his voice against the Muslim landlords."

There are about 150 Muslim families and 50 Christian families living in Fatewala, says the ANS report, and most of the Christians are poor peasants employed by Muslims.

In February 2001, Naira Nadia, a 14-year-old Christian girl, was kidnapped and gang raped by a group of Muslim men, apparently as a reprisal for sharing her faith with her school friends. According to the report, Nadia was forced to convert to Islam, and her parents were sent a certificate of conversion. She has been missing for nearly 17 months.

In Pakistan, women who have been raped are at risk of being accused of committing adultery, the penalty for which is death by stoning. According to the ANS report, to successfully defend a charge of adultery, the burden falls on the victim to prove rape, requiring four adult Muslim males to testify that they have witnessed the act.

It hard for me to accept the mantra: "Islam is a peaceful religion" when reports of this kind of behavior reported about Muslim society abound. Oh yes...there are the Muslims leaving in the west and educated there that behave differently. But the ways and customs of Islam (especially Wahabiism - the brand of Islam Saudi Arabia is exporting and supporting world wide) are violent, hateful, demeaning to women and intolerant of any other faith. Compared to Radical Islam, American Conservatives are free spirits from San Francisco. In other words, Islamists are the embodiment of the right wing extremists liberals are constantly warning us off. Yet liberals refuse to condemn radical Islam philosophies. I believe that Western leftists have a dilemma and are at a crossroads. They either condemn the ways of Radical Islam as an affront to the human rights of human kind, or they chose to support radical Islamist for no other reason but because Radical Islam is an enemy of the west. The left is showing its spots…

Maybe if they actually realized that Islam = Peace, they wouldn't be afraid.

When you consider that Muslims regard "all others" as less than human and that Big Al put them here for the use and amusement of the faithful, then such things as this report do not suprise you.

How long will it be now for the non-muslim world to realize that a state of virtual war exiist, and has existed, between them and us. Say what you will, that's the way it stands.

I have accepted the fact that Radical Islam is at war with western culture. Unfortunately, the power of Saudi Oil is influencing the political parties in all the west. Not just in the US. The western governments are guttless in that regard. Instead of going after the problem at its core, they are acting with the illusion that they can fight terrorism with out fighting the Saudi Ismaic apparatus. Radical Islam is being spread around the world by Saudi Arabia.

In my fantasy world, the solution for this type of incident is as follows:

Guardian Angels, rapid response teams, land unannounced by helicopter at the isolated village.
A perimeter is thrown around the area, and the victim is found.
The victim then leads the team through the village, and identifies each perpetrator in turn.

The perpetrator is then executed on the spot.
The body is then thrown into a pit full of pork fat.

When all the "compassionate" have been dealt with, the teams leave with the warning:

Harm the victim again and "we will be back".
Makes as much sense to me as the fantastic belief by muslims that they are meant to "rule over the world", and to "hold it subservient to allah", the evolutionary precursor to pigs.

Abraham Lincoln believed that the best way to defeat his enemies was to make them friends. And indeed it is -- when it's possible.

Not exactly a new concept.
Has anyone here in this forum even a hint as to where Carthage used to be?

If such incidents take place in the US, and (for whatever reason) the police & courts are reluctant to take action, it will eventually lead to vigilante action

Based on the rising amount of Islamic violence in Europe, we will be seeing shortly if France, the Netherlands, etc, have any MEN left, or if they all died in the two World Wars.

it doesnt have to get to that. But the political correction desease of the soccer moms and washington politicians is getting in the way of us facing reality: Radical Islamic Terrorism is conducted almost exclusively by Muslim Arabic Men between the ages of 16 and 45. Not blond women with their kids on the way to visit grandma in Florida. I a woman like that being searched at the airport. It made me gag...

Think of Hannibal and the Alps. Hannible was from Carthage. It was the greatest empire of its day (before Rome became the superpower) and was destroyed by the enemy from within.

For more information, read G.A. Henty's "The Young Carthaginian"

If that was sarcasm and not really a question, my apologies.

NOW...the National Organisation of Wilderbeasts...has been missing in action in any case of misstreatment of women since Clinton and his escapades. They are typical of most lefty anti-american front groups. If they are going after white men and conservatives they are all over the news. When anyone other than their target "bad guy" commits an act of violence against women, they dissapear. I'm sure they can wait till they are forced by the Islamists to wear a Burka. The NOW crowd bores me...

Your point(s) are well made. I am encouraged, however, by two things. 1. The first tankerload of Russian oil just arrived in the port of Houston. 2. There is an encreasing pressure on the current administration to allow drilling in ANWR and in the Gulf of Mexico. The accomplishment of these two things will allow me to see my most fervently prayed for event, ie, seeing the Saudis eat their oil without benefit of salt or pepper. With friends like these two-faced bastards who needs enemies.

BTW, I have been trying to find anyone who can name a single product of a modern Islamic country. Don't say oil, they have it under their ground, but for the most part it's our technology that produces it, refines it and ships it to the buyers. All they do is take the money and put on the airs of Uriah Heep.

Saudi Arabia and the rest of the oil rich Arab nations have nothing to offer the world but the oil under their feet and Radical Islam. The billions they have made have not gone in to creating an industrial base, irrigating their nations or educating their young in to runing their nations in a modern manner. Working for a living is something the foreigners that they bring in do.

As for our dependance on their oil wanning I am glad about the new relationship with Russia, but GW's excemption of drilling off the shore of Florida to help his brother get reelected hurt his chances of convincing Americans that we need to drill in ANWAR. In my oppinion, he should have use the political capital of this situation to educate the voters on the national weakness of importing oil and lack of energy independance. We should be building nuclear powerplants with better safeguards instead of not at all. And we should be drilling where ever we can.
