President Bush, along with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Jenna, departed today for their annual trip to Kennebunkport, Maine. Well-wishers gave the President an early birthday send off today since Bush will be spending his birthday, July 6th, in Maine. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Okay, here's what I'll do. I'll run into Crawford next week and get the name of the two stores that sell W stuff and see if they have websites. If not, I'll check the merchandise, prices, sizes, etc., for anybody who is interested, and go back and pick up what you want. Will that work? So ... do you pay the shipping?

Thank you for your sympathy. I am thinking about giving myself a big old pity party this weekend. Did I mention that I'm teaching her? My right leg is stiff from using the imaginary brake on the passenger side of the car the last two days. Should I be missing in action for several days, assume I've been hospitalized.

If there is going to be a Bush Babes get together in Crawford, wouldn't it make more sense to have it when the president is actually there at the ranch? Like maybe in August? Just thinkin' out loud.
