A fossil previously mistaken for the remains of an extinct fish turns out to hold the earliest known creature to have emerged from the Earth's waters and walk on land some 350 million years ago.
This ancestor of every four-limbed, backboned animal living today -- the first creature clearly designed to walk on land, with forward-facing feet -- fills a major gap in the evidence for the evolution of vertebrates from sea to land, scientists say.

The facts in this case would certainly seem to be against the theory of evolution. These fellows got their 'guess' wrong the first time, or at least that's what they are telling us. So you are going to believe they are right this time just because they say they are? That's not facts, that's faith. :)
In fact, your rants are so eloquent I think the new people need to have ready access to more of your fascinating and varied output:

Missing-link fossil wasn't a fish -- it has a pelvis 40 posted on 7/5/02 7:51 AM Pacific by medved

(just something about this article inspired me)
Read the article again. "The first time" was when the grad student first showed his professor the still-dirty fossil that he had just started working on. The fish interpretation was never published, because the professor immediately suspected it was really a pelvis and not just a big fish scale. Only now, when the fossil has been fully cleaned & examined, that they're publishing the data that it's a transitional with a pelvis.
OK, Medved. Let's examine this silly "evolutionists==Dahmer" argument of yours. How does forced gay sex followed by murder followed by the ritual eating of said forced sex partner contribute to the survival & flourishing of our species?
I've tried & tried to understand how this could possibly be good for the species' survival, and I just can't. But I trust that your superior mind has come up with an unassailable evolutionary explanation for this. Please enlighten us...
Found a fish with a pelvis? In What Cheer, Iowa? LMAO! Undoubtedly traveled there from Polynesia, where it invented the hula and other pelvis-centric dances. Natives cheered, town was named. No more ridiculous that many of posts to this thread.
Isn't that what you are saying happened as well, as a Creationist? G-d said Shazam?
Yepp, according to this guy earth orbited once Saturn.
But if you want to know more about this earth shattering theory you'll have to go to http://www.bearfabrique.org where Ted Holden explains it all en détaille.

You can check that out on catastrophism.com, kronia.com, or any of several other sites noted in the list of linkes I posted. Then you might want to bop over to Tower Records or Borders or something like that and look under "bluegrass" until you come up with Flatt and Scruggs or somebody with a cut of "Keep Your Hands Off of It, Cause It Don't Belong to You".and try to memorize the lyrics. I mean, you've got to be the damndest case I've ever seen of somebody living in a crystal house and wanting to throw rocks around in all directions...
