CNN's female commentator expressed dismay at the idea that El Al had armed security guards in the airport.

I just landed in St. Louis a few hours ago from Anchorage. The ANC airport had a 45 minute security delay in which the only person who knew how to run the ETD (explosives detector)was 30 mins late for work. The entire concourse was shut down and the line went from the American ticket counter all the way down to the United counter. If you are not familiar with ANC,thats about 1000 yards. The security at the airports should be a sitcom. As an airline employee,I abhor it,and will actively be railing about it,privately and publicly. In an unrelated coincidence, Senator Kit Bond was on board. I was too tired after taking a 6 and a half hour red eye to remind him that I voted for him and the airport security in the US is an absolute joke. How many security agents were jacking up an 80 year old woman from Tulsa when this happened?

Fox News (or their KABC feed) just took great pains to point out that white supremacists often target Jews. Then they reminded us of the Jewish day care shooting.

Hope they release the perp's name soon.
