Woman Told She Was Next, Police Report Says

SNELLVILLE, Ga. -- A 41-year-old Snellville man has been arrested on animal cruelty charges for allegedly threatening a woman by placing her Rottweiler puppy in a microwave oven.

The puppy was treated at an animal hospital and is recovering, authorities said.

William Terrezz Stephens faces several charges from the June 24 incident in which the 7- to 8-week-old dog was microwaved for 10-12 seconds, then stabbed in the side and dropped to the floor, authorities said Wednesday.

Stephens was charged with two counts of cruelty to animals, one count of burglary and one count of simple assault. He is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County jail in Lawrenceville.

Police reports said Stephens was at the woman's home when he placed the dog in a microwave and turned it on twice. The puppy stayed in the microwave for 10-12 seconds each time and was removed only after it started to cry.

After stabbing the dog, Stephens allegedly told the woman she would be next, according to the police report.

Sure, I heartly volunteer. Preferably with a pair of very dull, very rusty pair of scissors.

Not enough bad stuff can happen to this guy.

This makes me so angry! Your suggestion is too humane for this piece of human excrement. I have no words to describe the outrage I feel since not only did he hurt a defenseless puppy but he also threatened to stab the woman.

Get a rope!

If you used pruning shears, you wouldn't have to to touch them.

It has to be a fairly nice-sized microwave for a two-month Rott pup to fit. Those puppies are large (I've previously raised 4 of them).

At any rate, this is inexcusable. Maybe my two pits would like to have a "talk" with him...

I was think more along the lines of a gas powered weedeater with a spool full of speedometer cable. And a drum of lemon juice for cleanup afterwards.

A question to you sophisticated, continental Koreans; what kind of wine should you serve with Rottweiler?

Do they make human-sized microwave ovens?

Unfortunately, the dog will probably not trust ANY human again! Dogs have long memories when it comes to abuse. I am glad the dog survived, but, he did "kill" the dog in alot of ways! What a lowlife coward to pick on something that wouldn't respond. They put dogs down for attacking people, maybe we should... never mind.
