Vanity: The Pledge of Allegiance is Unconstitutional - If That Doesn't Convince You What Will?
June 26, 2002 | Jim Robinson

This is your wake-up call

My friends, I've been taking a lot of flak lately because of my stand on President Bush and the Republicans. Well, my thinking is that the coming elections are so critical that the very continuation of America as we know it may be at stake.

All of our institutions are controlled by liberals. Both houses of Congress are awash in liberals and socialists and moderates and very few conservatives. The Courts are infested with liberal activist judges. Our media and entertainment industries are overrun by liberals. Our universities are overrun by liberals. Our public education systems are overrun by liberals. The liberals control public opinion through their controlled nightly news programs and their daily liberal newspapers. My God, the whole damn country is run by hordes of mushy headed liberals and socialists in biblical proportions! And now they even have the audacity to openly attack patriotism and even God Almighty Himself!

A United States Federal Appeals Court in California has declared the

Pledge of Allegiance to be unconstitutional! And this simply because it contains the phrase, "Under God." I'm speechless! I just sit here and shake my head. Don't even know what to say.

Wake up America! We've been saying that for years. The far right-wingers have been shouting it for decades. Wake up America! Wake up America, the socialists are coming!

And now it's here. The Republic is in grave danger. The liberal activist judiciary has tested the waters. If America does not wake up and not only say no, but hell no to this abomination, then what will the emboldened court take next? Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna sit around on my butt doing nothing while we find out.

Call to action: Get off your Butts! Call or write your reps! Voice your opinion. Demand that they do something about this. Tell them that America will not allow this outrage to stand! Demand of your Senators that they move President Bush's judiciary appointments through the Senate! The Democrat controlled Senate is holding up his appointments, hoping to delay as many as they possibly can until Bush appoints judges more to their liking, or possibly even until they can get Gore or Hillary elected in 2004. God forbid!

And, I'm convinced more than ever, that we must have a complete turnover of the judiciary in the next decade. This is critical. The liberal activist judiciary is getting more and more aggressive. If we do not get some conservative judges in there pretty soon, this game is going to be over.

How do we get conservative judges? Well, I can guarantee you that we will not get them as long as the Senate is controlled by Democrats. We must have a Republican President to appoint conservative judges and we must have a Republican majority so they will be moved through the Senate. This is one of the primary reasons why I want to push so hard to help elect Republicans to the Congress and especially to the Senate. And this is why I want to push so hard to help re-elect President Bush in 2004.

Wake up America! And wake up right-wingers! Vote out the Democrats. Vote in a huge Republican majority so we can retake America from the liberals!

We cannot afford a loss or even a squeaker in the next couple of elections. We must have Reaganesque landslides! Send them to Washington with a mandate from the American people! We want a complete turnover and makeover of the judiciary and all of the government. Give is back our Liberty!

This is not the time for sending a negative message. It does us no good for conservatives to sit on their hands or to vote third party. The only message that sends is to say you don't care if we have wall-to-wall liberals forever. The Democrats will love you. The liberal activist judiciary will love you.

The message you should send is one by pen and ink, or by phone calls and personal meetings. Send a message now to your congressmen and to the Republican Party. Now is the time to send the message. Tell them what we want them to run on and what we want them to do when they get in there. Send them a positive message filled with patriotism and love for God and Country. Tell them that we are fed up with the liberals and we want our country back and we want our rights back. Tell your relatives and your friends and neighbors. Tell them to write and call and visit. And tell them to vote for the Republican in their districts. We must do this if we want it back. We cannot afford to fail.

God bless you all and thank you for bearing with me. I love my country and I love my freedom more than life itself. I don't care what anyone says about me, or what labels they pin on me. From this day forward I am a Bush-bot and proud of it! I am going to help turn this thing around or I'm going down in flames trying.

FReegards,

Jim Robinson

I heard this guy on the radio. He says his impetus was that he was looking at the phrase "In God We Trust" on money and decided to sue.

I guess our money is next.

My Lord Jesus Christ certainly had an agenda.
Praise God I am accused of following in His steps.

Why are all these Republican outreach programs targeted to Mexicans and Blacks for example? First of all blacks are overwhelmingly Democrat and likely to stay that way. Second, Mexicans make up a tiny percentage of the electorate are mostly Democratic and confined to states not up for grabs. The Republicans outreach towards Jewish groups will most likely help them in places like Florida but would not appealing to working class socially conservative white voters in places like again Wisconsin, Michigan, West Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Florida, Pennsylvania et cetera be a MUCH better idea.

Jim, you are 100% right!!! Although I at present am a hold-my-nose-and-vote-GOPer (far from happy with the GOP), the CLEAR and PRESENT danger of allowing democrats to control either house of Congress should be evident to ALL who love this country.....to vote in anyway that may allow democrats to control ANYTHING in this country is counter to any conservative principles....as much as the Libetarians preach about principle, it is reckless, and counter to the cause, to vote LP if doing so assures a democrat election (and I might add, voting for a moderate republican is the SAME as voting for a democrat)....Democrats care ONLY about power, not the Constitution.

The court is overwhelmingly appointed by liberals, and the crux of the issue will be not over Republican nominated or Democrat nominated judges, but instead over conservative judges/strict constructionists and activist judges.

You know, all the things that Leahy and Edwards have been preening over for the past few months, basically tying the Democrats to the wrong side of this issue.

Actually, this is a gift...you just need to check the package...the judge who wrote the opinion may have been appointed by Nixon, but he's also a Senior Judge...read that as RETIRED! - He was on the bench for this case becasue of vacancies on the court - and who's responsible for that? DASCHLE. And Leaky Leahey. That point needs to be made, and loudly.
I didn't know that! How special! And you are very, very right about the point needing to be made. Bump

"I fail to see how removing the two words added in 1954 threatens our Republic."

You are missing the point, It has nothing to do with "under God", it has to do with the Court misreading and misapplying the plain words of the Constitution.

The so called "wall" is meant to protect all religions from the ESTABLISHMENT of a PARTICULAR brand of religion. It was never meant to prevent the mention of a higher power. In this country we enjoy freedom OF religion. Not freedom FROM religion. Get it?

The Pledge of Allegiance ruled unconstitutional even has the Democrats in the Senate up in arms. This is outrageous! Heard the Senior Democrat say this is STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!
So they say.

We'll see how the votes go on an amendment, when and if it ever gets that far.

The Senate voted 99-0 on an unbinding resolution against Kyoto too. Do you really think all the Democrats really oppose it?

Back when I was in school I don't remember it as an "invitation".

The pledge is not mandatory; by logic, what else could it be? Though the onus clearly is on the parent to explain this.

Newdow explained quite clearly (using the very word "games") that he was playing games with the courts. It was clearly not sufficient for him to tell his daughter something to the effect that "we don't believe in this, so we don't recite it along with the rest." Even though that would be an obvious answer to a personal objection to the pledge, and the answer that the Supreme Court has upheld for years for others that object to the flag pledge.

Jim,
You are so right.True conservatives have screamed this for years and most people have not listened. We have been asleep at the wheel so to speak.
America has exported all of our jobs through NAFTA,now it will come back to haunt us because the dollar is going to slide and we will certainly pay more for all these imported products we use to produce. In turn our foreign buddies lifestyle will be enhanced and ours will hit rock bottom.Maybe this will cause a lot of those illegals in this country to return home but dont count on it.
We opened up the flood gates with our big hearts and they have come here and took over. All of these countries have unloaded mostly their poor, criminals and undesireables on us and we are now paying for it.Long live Liberalism.
Of course the only people that pay for this are the average hardworking people and those uneducated who have been brainwashed in our failing public schools.
America is getting to the point we will not only depend on the Arabs for oil but will depend on foreign countries for our day to day necessities.
The dollar will be devalued because of Americas corporate greed and fraud plus our legal systems inability to,or lack of desire to do anything to these white collar criminals.
America is no longer the moral leader of the free world either. We have been overcome by liberalism and are headed in the same direction as the old Roman Empire.America burns and our elected officials pocket all they can and keep right on fiddling.
When the terrorist succeed in crippling our cyber tech systems we will be at the end and probably too far gone to turn around. If we dont regroup this will make the depression in the 1920s seem small. We have fallen from within and turned our back on the source that sustained us from our beginning, long live the California Supreme Court and the ABA. We reap what we sew. The "RULE OF LAW" has been used to devour the giant, long live Liberalism(SATIN).

NEWS FLASH:
S.F. Cal., The 9th Cirtcuit Court of Appeals has struck down the establishment of time. Written in an opinion by one of the agreeing justices, they write "With our calender year based out of the mythical character called Jesus, we cannot allow the government to use preferential treatment to this Jesus (or 'Our Lord') in the Bible and using it to tell where we are in time. We will now consider this year 4,712,908,122 , year of our Mother Earth."

Reaction to the decision has been harsh but atheists have made their joy known.

"All I can say is thank God they struck down the way we tell time....err...i mean, thank Earth...or something like that...." commented Jim Knox from Oneola County, Florida.
An appeal is already in the works by Christian coalition groups who lobby Congress and the White House.

Folks, this is what we will see if Democrats stay in office.
