Excellent anaylsis, LL. No one in their right mind could argue with your logic.
Remember, I said no one in their right mind. I didn't include the left-minded people. ;-)

No, in North Korea, China, Cuba, etc...they want to remove God from their culture. So I think these people WOULD be much more comfortable there. Nobody would violate their delicate sensibilities by mentioning someone in whom they don't believe.
BTW, I'm still waiting for an answer to my question. I am REALLY interested to know why this guy had to attack the right of the rest of the kids to say the Pledge instead of just requiring his own little darling to keep her trap shut. I haven't had one response to this question all day, I see bannedonce left after ignoring all the hard questions, and I really want to be clued in on this by someone with a far more enlightened mind than my own Christian pea-brain. Thanks! GG

How Christian of these people. Your agenda betrays you . . .
The verse goes "One Nation Under God", not "One Nation Under Christ".

A few years ago a muslim Denver Rockets player refused to stand and say the pledge before gaems. If I recall, he was suspended for a few games then allowed to play but he didn't have to say the pledge. It didn't go over well with the fans and I don't think he plays for them any longer but he got to make his "religious" statement.

They then asked him what he was doing about it and he said "Hoping - and PRAYING"Yes, and his is a jealous god indeed.

Uh-Pete, I thought the Taliban belived in ALLAH. Muslims, ya know. I take it you're workin your way down the thread. Guess that means I can read your responses to this tomorrow. heehee. Good evening to you, and top of the mornin. I'm gone.

ditto . . .

Wrong-o, buddy!
The Taliban are believers in Allah. BIG difference!
To: sarasmom
A very perceptive question, sarasmom ... just what do people say when looking for that miracle, or suddently faced with the unexpected, or overrun with fear ... my observation is that we react pretty much the same ... we say what we're programmed to know ... Oh, God ...

Maybe they could torture him to death and then videotape it so you could enjoy watching the video?LOL! Just like those progressive thinkers and atheists Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and Hitler did?
One-hundred million sacrificed to the athiests' Moloch.
Keep defending them, pal.

I hope he doesn't make it through the night... Ahh,no doubt you are yet one more true believer and follower of the "Prince of Peace". Look up "hyprocisy" in the dictionary if you can drag yourself away from sticking pins in a doll of him.
When does the part about protecting the contry from both foreign and domestic enemies kick in anyway?
Mixing up a pledge and a oath of office? Why am I not surprised?
How much more of this crap are we supposed to take?
Don't worry. Sooner or later somebody will come by and tell you what to do. It's obvious you can't think on your own.
Can't say that I could really blame any patriots either..
Can't blame "patriots" for what? Murdering non-believers? Let's stop and reflect for a moment,ok? Where ELSE have we heard of "true-believers" wanting to murder "non-believers"?
To: sneakypete
"You might care to notice that the Taliban were "true believers" of God."Now I know you are joking. Are you telling us that the Taliban (read: our enemy) are true believers in God?? They don't worship GOD....they twist the words around so that they can condone what they do. What they've done to the women and children. What they've done to so-called "enemies of state". Was beheading Daniel Pearl a God thing? Was flying airplanes into buildings in order to murder your fellow Americans okay'ed their God? Was murdering innocent men, women and children given the go ahead by their God? Was it okay'd by their God to support terrorism worldwide, especially on US? Was that God's big Plan for us all? I hardly think so.
The God that I love and trust and believe in is one of compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love.
Your example was a very poor one.

Sacramento atheist Michael Newdow said Wednesday he was trying to restore the Pledge of Allegiance to its pre-1954 version because no one should be forced to worship[Emplasis mine] a religion in which they don't believe. Since when is saying a Pledge of Allegiance worshipping?????
If he objects so much, he can have his child sit down during the Pledge of Allegiance, leave the room, stand silently. Or he can homeshcool his kid in his quirky ways.

They rant and rave and flap their arms around like a bunch of fools and then leave without ever ACTUALLY answering a logical post. Been there, done that. ;-)
Take my advice....go to bed while you can. You'll need all the strength you can garner tomorrow. ;-) Deej

. Here's hoping to some assault and battery on the guy. Maybe you could get out the pitchforks and help build the bonfire to burn him in?

Atheism has inspired the greatest mass murderes, the most purely evil genocidal maniacs who have ever drawn fetid breath.
This puke and worm of a man isn't going to be tortured, so quit grunting, whining, and hyperventilating on his behalf. He is safe among the Christians of this country. That is why he felt secure to do this in the first place.
Hypersensitive atheists are such whiny weasels. They would kill each other in a heartbeat if they lived in a soceity comprising only other atheists. But they know they can poke Christians in the eyes with pointed sticks and get away with it.
He'll get away with it. He'll be lionized, become rich, and a movie will be made of him starring Woody Harrelsen. Larry Flynt will bankroll it.
Your hero has shat on America, has suffered no ill effects, and will be free to do it again in the future. So rejoice!
