Bush's plan is appropriate to the situation. Which means, of course, that it will be immediately rejected by the Palestinians, the terror organizations, and most other Arab/Islamic states.

That means that it serves it's proper purpose quite nicely. It also means that someone better put a watch on the upper floor and roof of the State Dept. building: There's probably a whole lot of distraut Ivy League diplomats about ready to jump off...

I did not get to hear Bush's speech. But I did see the news from this morning that Arrafat wanted to go with the Clinton Peace Plan and Israel said it is too late for that.
Makes that comment more interesting after Bush's speech - Arrafat you get no Peace Plan of any type!
