Poor CNN, and Wolf Blitzer.

FOX's Congressional Bulldog reporter Carl Cameron had the scoop 3 weeks ago and decided not to undercut the national security for a one day story.

The Clinton News Network gets the story the evening before the hearing from John Edwards and they run it like the second coming of Watergate.

If this is true, which I think it is, then why does the public know? If these are secret operations, then they should stay secret. I'm getting sick of these big mouth lefties who keep giving out war plans to the press. This is all done to undermine Bush and I'm getting sick of it!
This behavior amounts to treason and something harsh needs to be done to stop these "loose lips."

If this stuff is so secret, how does the press get a hold of it. And why do they report it?

Secret? If this is even slightly accurate I would not call it secret, anymore.

Then that someone needs a good talking to at the least. Bush can not conduct a war and have these sorts of leaks coming out. Now Iraq is ready for us or at least getting their "ducks" in a row so to speak. It's really treasonist!

Kristol is a professional leaker, World Net/Debkafile is relying upon 30 years of contacts of their reporters in the Arab world as former correspondants for the Ecomonist magaizne. (plus leaks from Israel Intel the best in the world)

As a rule of thumb the scoops are more accurate the closer they are to the Middle East area..

I think he's as evil as evil can be and would like him see replaced with a pro-American government.

Am I mistaken in thinking that 20 years ago, Saddam was the pro-American government?

Right! And they question the Bush administration for keeping intelligence info to themselves. Can not imagine why there would be a need to.

And after we get rid of Iraq hopefully he will close the floodgates to our souther borders and put an end to Third World immigration of aliens who would not assimilate to our Western culture.

And then we wake up and realize it was a dream. The southern border is not going to be closed just like Clinton will never be prosecuted.

No, but lots of things change in 20 years. 20 years ago we were also helping Muslim fundmentalists in Afghanistan kill Russians.

And Kristol. What part of secret does he not understand? What part of aiding the enemy do either of them not understand. They will unnamed source anything in the world. Here's hoping they never get info on any U.S. planned attack or they might be responsible for many deaths and I'm sure they don't have the patriotism and respect for their co-Americans to keep their blasted mouths shut.

Okay, I understand your attitude towards Kristol. He's just a Professional Pain-in-the-Ass with a towering ego.

But if you were Condi Rice, wouldn't you want to make sure that some tidbit of information got to Bill Kristol, if you wanted it to get out?

Kristol is the kind of guy who loves to hear himself talk. If you're going to plant a story that you want Saddam and the rest of the Middle East to hear about, wouldn't you give it to that blabbermouth?

Hell, if they'd given it to someone who has a sense of national security, like Carl Cameron, it would have never seen the light of day.

This story was supposed to be leaked! It's a f*%$ing plant!

When you start hearing that Saddam has started shooting generals again, then you'll understand why this story went right to Bill Kristol.

"Okay, which one of you wiseacres is plotting against me now? Come on! You can tell me. I'll forgive you. Okay, if you don't want to tell me, why don't you tell my son Qusay over there. He's the one with the baseball bat...."

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Do you think that would stop us?

No, nothing will stop the ouster of the Baath regime and it's replacement by a friendly government.

An enormous military buildup will be necessary first, and it's not clear whether this is the beginning of such a buildup or whether one has been ongoing and not reported by western media.

I find a complete news blackout of an ongoing buildup pretty remarkable in the age of the internet, but I find it hard to believe that one hasn't been initiated until now.

Of course there already is a large army in Afghanistan and the Air Force is already flying daily sorties over Iraq.

Actually, somebody tried to assassinate his son today. His car blew up just as he was about to get into it - he was unhurt, but several other people were killed.

Personally, I don't think it was us that tried to do it: I think it was Daddy. Being the appointed heir of a crazy father can be a dangerous thing.

Saddam and his family make the European early Middle Ages come to life again! They obviously don't know or don't care that this family assassination stuff just isn't done anymore.

This is the silliest, most widely discussed telegraphed punch I've ever heard an administration talking about. I just wonder who the hell this whole charade is intended to fool.
