If the PA keeps this up, they are guaranteeing Bibi a job, IMO.Wasn't Sharon elected to do this job? That's what I thought at the time.

I wonder what Saddams reply would be to that? "Not only no, but..."It would also be a good diplomatic ploy. He's always expressing such support for the Palestinians. Well then, they can occupy towns surrounding all his multimillion dollar mansions.

Are you familiar with the FR policy on "No personal attacks?" Is this forum moderated anymore?
To: Howlin
there ARE people in Israel who don't want to engage the PA.Probably people in Israel who haven't had a loved one or their own person killed or maimed for life by the PA.

I know you were being sarcastic, but I say thank goodness they have one less breeder.
To: SJackson
Isn't it craven the way some folks try and shift blame to the victims, as if the behavior of terrorists can be excused.

Is this forum moderated anymore? Yes, in moderation.

israel's non-responsiveness has become pathetic, and W's semi-endorsement of a pali 'state' is chickensh!t. I agree although I don't know if I would put it so bluntly (smile)

'It is internal dissent and dissent from Jews elsewhere,
not pressure from the USA, which keeps Israel from taking decisive action." Did you do a poll? Your data is from where?
The rest of us have watched the humiliating and losing
Terrorism Appeasement Tours of Powell, followed by
the systematic murders of innocents by the Palestinian butcher-terrorists.
These are the same 'people' who burned US flags after the
911 Atrocities.

Once Bush makes his announcement, there will be concern with the details. Now, on CBS last night, they actually were interested in the details and listed the ones mentioned on here. They are perfectly good requirements....nothing less is okay and it looks like Bush understands that. One report says he may call for the ceasing of Israeli settlement building. I can accept this and still be very pleased with Bush's proposal.

Craven, yes, the act of a coward. It's a deliberate attempt to deflect blame by attributing culpability to the victims.
It's very transparent, and offensive to see it persist on FR day after day, death after death.

Did anyone think that Sharon was elected because of his postion on education or health care or the environment?
I don't follow Israel politics that closely, but, it seemed to me that Sharon was elected to defend the country and that he would be willing to kill people if needed.

I'm beginning to think that some on this thread are right. Perhaps Israel should have one massive strike that takes out the entire Palestinian leadership. What are they going to do, send more human bombs? How can it be worse than what they're already doing?
If the Arab world goes to war with Israel, perhaps that wouldn't be the worst that could happen, it might well be the solution.
