In Gaza, the mother of a Palestinian suicide attacker who killed two Israelis before being shot dead has spoken of her feelings about her son's actions.
A video released by Hamas shows a proud mother taking up arms beside her favourite son.

First a warm embrace, then a loving kiss.
Naima al-Obeid was saying goodbye to her 23-year-old Mahmoud, a college student on his way to carry out a suicide attack.
"God willing you will succeed," she says.
"May every bullet hit its target, and may God give you martyrdom. This is the best day of my life."
Mahmoud says: "Thank you for raising me."
Naima got her wish.
Mahmoud was shot dead attacking the Jewish settlement of Dugit in the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
Deaths celebrated
Two Israeli soldiers were killed in the ambush.
Their deaths are being celebrated near Mahmoud's home.

We found crowds coming to the mourning tent - and not just because of him.
People here aren't just remembering Mahmoud - they are honouring his mother.
She has become a heroine, being talked about on the streets, praised in the local papers.
Some Palestinians are taking a great deal of pride in a mother who saw her son go to kill and die without shedding a tear.
They are already saying she will inspire other women to do the same.
Heaven and hell
In her home, in Gaza, she showed me pictures of the son she calls "my heart".
She had no sympathy for the dead Israelis, no regrets over the loss of her own son.
"Nobody wants their son to be killed. I always wanted him to have a good life.
"But our land is occupied by the Israelis. We're sacrificing our sons to get our freedom," she told me.
I asked her if it mattered whether her son killed women and children.
"The women and children are also Jews," she said, "They're all the same for me.
"And I want to tell Jewish mothers - take your children and run from here because you will never be safe. We believe our sons go to heaven when they are martyred. When your sons die they go to hell."
Naima is surrounded by well-wishers, no one asking why she gave her son a licence to kill.
She has nine more children, whom, she says, all have a duty to fight the Israeli occupation.
And Satan is very pleased.
These Palestine women must be sterilized. Lives depend on it.
Yep, if they are paid, and they usually are, they are accomplices. At the very least they should be jailed for life.
It is not 'terrorism' per se (that is too vague and subjective of a politically correct, acceptable and harmless term that avoids 'offending' our sense of 'diversity'). No, the Enemy is :
RADICAL FUNDAMENTAL ISLAMISTS
(Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaida, al-Quinoon.... you name it)
Now that we know who they are and what their unyielding intent is, we need to go on the offensive and annihilate not negotiate. Any and all who support their barbarian actions should likewise we put down.
The Palis can thank their pathetic little god allah that I am not the Fuhrer of Israel. No one would speak of Hitler anymore because he would look like a boy scout compared to me.
In their suicidal psychosis, either their threatened arrest or death is STILL not a deterrent. Sad to say but I am coming to this conclusion.
Gee, now I know how Truman must have felt about having to involve the civilians down in Hiroshima and Nagasaki just to deliver the death knell to the Japanese Military. But he had little choice. Sad it has to come to this perhaps.
Quit honestly, words fail me. I cannot imagine how any woman, after having carried a life inside of her and raising it to manhood could conceivably condone, let alone promote, this type of action. If she cares nothing for the Israelis, you'd at least think about losing her own son. She is lower-than-dirt. A filthy woman that makes me ashamed to be a woman. A filthy pond-scum excuse for a human. A no-good breeder of murders that should have been sterilized at birth! -- gee, maybe words don't fail me after all. All who think/believe as this 'woman' does should be immediatly incinerated in a real (nuclear) holocaust before they have a chance to breed and raise more murders.
We lost Vietnam because we failed to fight our enemy as they fought us. We are making the same mistake. Call it our Western, Judeo-Christian benevolent naivety. But it may well be the downfall for Israel and ourselves, considering the immoral, totally worthless scum we are up all against now.
That sir, is an oxymoron.

First, these crazy people keep killing themselves, one after the other. Their families are happy for their death because “our friend”, Saudi Arabia is giving them lots of money!
Second, the hate propaganda machine is going full blast at all Moslem countries. It is fully supported by ALL these Moslem governments! The campaign is very successful in recruiting martyrs. The underground network which is afforded full support from ALL Moslem governments is also very successful in smuggling plastic explosives to the terrorists. The explosive materials purchased from the west under legal governmental contracts. What in the heck are we going to do about that?
We are up against a killer bees nest, that is multiplying faster than we can even detect where they are coming from. In the mean time, we are burdened by our legal system, the liberals, the constitution, the international code of conducts. So is there anything that we can do?
Yes, but it requires honest talk to heads of states. No diplomatic threat! Just plain threat: We catch another terrorist from Saudi Arabia, and we will kill the King and his family! Let the king worry about controlling his subjects, and stop financing cells of terrors around the globe in the name of Islam? Or we catch a terrorist from Egypt, and we will kill the Egyptian president, his defense minister, and the grand mufti of El Azhar?
As you know, little people don’t know crap in these third world countries. It is their western educated intellectuals, and government leaders who are indirectly pulling the strings. Therefore, if we posed the threat directly to the people in control, we may start to get results.
On parallel, we must also give them a carrot, along with the stick. We should offer an immediate recognition of a Palestinian state in the current West Bank, and Gaza. That does not take much! In addition a time-line to dismantling of some of the Jewish settlements. And a promise to discuss returning some of the lands in the near future after this mess is is quieted down!
The longer we look the other way. The longer we think that we are going to bomb these angry people to submission, the more we are going to extend the suffering of the innocent Israeli civilians.
