HUH?
Not so! I know of numerous people who have legitmately backed out of the VOLUNTARY federal income tax system. Here's a link to one in particular:
His name is Chad Prater and he has not paid federal income taxes in 14 years. He has over 10,000 clients in all 50 states, many of whom have not paid in 10 years. His method for legally backing out of the system of VOLUNTARY COMPLIANCE is the best I've seen. You may want to order his book or call him on the phone and begin your own research.
We must stop funding our enslavers!
I've heard several people advocating removing withholding so everyone will have to send in a check to the feds once a year to pay their 'fair share'. The powers-that-be certainly knew what they were doing when they instituted payroll deductions. Since people don't ever see the money, they don't miss it and, therefore, it cause them no pain to see that several hundred or several thousand dollar payment go out. I believe that if people had to send this in on their own, there would finally be a MASS uprising and refusal to pay but, alas, I don't believe it will ever happen. The power to tax is the power to destroy.
All in all it's sort of a perverted rebellion, because you are also screwing yourself. Better to pay those taxes and bitch about them as a free citizen, more or less.
Oh yeah. Since 1913, the government has been taking our money illegally and, until now, no one has challenged it. And even though the 16th Amendment is IN the Constitution, it's not really there. It just snuck in by itself when no one was looking. And no one even noticed it. Oh yeah. That's believable.

I guess that's what I mean. But if it's a conspiracy, it's a conspiracy of millions over many generations.
I hate the income tax, but I don't think there's some sort of ruling politburo sneakily keeping me in line. It's the damned government that my fellow countrymen keep electing, the idiots.
that is one of the many reasons why the government/irs can continue to deceive the american people.
like shultz says, we need a force.
On the domestic income question, the contention in the videotape is based on a misreading of the sections they cite, which distinguish US versus non-US income for purposes of preventing double taxation by the US and another jurisdiction. They do not specify whether income is taxable or define gross income.
On the question of state citizenship versus US citizenship, that's been pretty well settled by the Fourteenth Amendment, which specifically provides that natural-born and naturalized Americans are citizens both of the United States and the state in which they reside.
Of course, none of this will prevent some people from following ignorant and discredited advice to their detriment.
Finally, I hope you aren't trusting any of the lawyers that you say found this tape convincing with any business of yours that you consider important!

"The 16th Amendment created no new power of taxation and did not change the constitutional limitations which forbid any direct taxation of individuals."
You see, we've been scammed by the State since 1913. Our federal government has been lying, deceiving, and stealing from its citizens for 89 years. However, the federal income tax is not unconstitutional because it is VOLUNTARY! If we want to voluntarily assess ourselves and voluntarily pay, the IRS will be glad to accept it.
You are only required to pay if:
1) You are a U.S. citizen with a foreign income.
2) You are a U.S. citizen with income source from a U.S. federal territory, such as Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, or Washington D.C.
3) You are foreign alien living in the U.S. with a domestic income.
4) You are an employee of the federal government.
The key to unraveling the Tax Code is knowing and understanding the operative definition of the word, "SOURCE"! If you are a citizen of one of the 50 states with a domestic income, you do NOT have a SOURCE of income.

Waiting for your explanation with much anticipation!
Then, let's take a step back and look at why Brushaber is important. It's important because that was the Supreme Court decision that upheld the constitutionality of the federal income tax.
Gee whiz! Do you people believe everything you read?
