VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) - A man described by a judge as "an evil monster" was sentenced to 25 years in prison for using a baseball bat, metal pipe and golf club to attack a 12-year-old Halloween trick-or-treater on his doorstep.

The right of an individual to vote on electors was granted collectively by our society through the provisions of our Constititution. Or are electors a natural phenomenon?
BTW, how's that imaginary Miller quote coming?
Libertarianism is its very own reductio ad absurdum.
Do you have the power to murder?
Ya, so? What does this have to do with the right of a property owner to determine the disposition of his own property? Obviously if he has leased his property to another the owner is obligated to fullfill his end of the contract.
You are dodging the question. Typical.
Thus, Respectively.. States and people..
I know, and I am dragging feet just because of it..
These people would allow Osama to drag a weapon in here simply because having "borders" isn't "moral"
I like them allot, I really do.. but when they drift over the edge like this..
Not at all. Some rights are conferred on individuals by society, some aren't.
Your right to vote on electors specifically was a creation of our society.
Virtually all Libertarians avail themselves of the right to use the roads and highways provided by the public, they just don't want to share the costs.
TANSTAAFL
No biggie from what I can see and I havent heard a single argument that even remotely sounds convincing..
The people of the States outlawed prostitution, building nukes in the garage AND growing weed.. and no one has proved to me that cannot do this thus far..
So, I say.. good.
People do not have the choice to opt out of a city's garbage collection program. Garbage collection and disposal should be completely privatized. People should arrange to have their garbage colleced and disposed of on their own with a reclamation company of their chosing.
...people building nuclear bombs in their garage...
Possessing a weapon is not a threat. Pointing it at someone is. The threat is not the device itself but the act of pointing it at somebody. The same rule applies to explosives. The device itself is not the threat. The threat stems from the act of pointing it at someone (bringing it to within range of another). Because explosives are indiscriminate, anyone in the blast radius is essentially having a weapon pointed at them. Unless they have consented to this condition, they could make a legitimate argument that a weapon is being pointed at them and would thus be morally justified in the application of force to defend themselves.
zoning
Zoning laws have caused shortages in housing and have driven up the cost of homes. There's more demand and too little a supply. Zoning has also been used to shut-out competition in local marketplaces.
liquor stores, prostitution...
Consumer demand drives these things. Discourage their use. Don't restrict it through government.
It limits it.
You didn't answer my question again.
You again fail to answer the questions put to you. It is your position that we collectively define murder. Thus, if we defined murder as only applying to individuals but not state agencies, it would apparently be perfectly fine with you. Your argument dictates that morality itself is defined in law rather than law mirroring objective morality.
Moral equivalence is generally suspect. But not in your eyes apparently.
Furthermore, your logic is so flawed that you refuse to answer any questions which expose these flaws. Could you as an individual murder somebody and be morally justified?
So, the public is the origin of rights? From where did the public get rights to confer to others?
How so? Did he or did he not have the right to write and sign a lease agreement? How does said lease agreement diminish his rights in any way?
What power do you confer on them? Why have comminities, town councils.. Why have anything but fedgov?
Obviously they aren't needed and people don't desire them.
Not in front of the cameras.
