Graduation ceremony today, special church service this morning, and the let down after all the craziness of the week, including the stark realization that we only have 2 more days with our son before basic training.

All the emotions that have been building came crashing down on me today, and seeing the smiling face of our President, and his lovely First Lady gives a much needed lift!

btw, the party went swimmingly.......and homeschool, you called the weather perfectly for the whole weekend.......high puffy clouds, reasonably warm temperatures, and lots of sunshine!

I am glad to hear that the graduation went well. :-)

I am in northern California for a couple of days and am checking on the Dose with my $6.00 an hour AOL toll free service so as not to leave a long distance bill at my husband's aunt and uncle's house. Can't dawdle online! I'll be home again in a couple of days though.

So glad that all went so well at your party! We will all join you in praying for your son. I know how difficult it must be to say goodby, but how proud you must be too!
I know you are putting him in the hands of the Good Lord, and he will be serving his nation at the most important time in our recent history!
