President Bush and First Lady Laura returned to the White House today after spending the weekend at Camp David. Bush met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak yesterday and discussed the situation in the Mideast. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Please, dear Lord, just give us 6 1/2 more years and we have a good chance of turning things around.

The first thing I thought when I saw this picture tonight was all the pictures we've seen posted on FR of the little Arab babies, all dressed up to kill. We NEED to pray for Israel, AND for the Arabs. It's HARD to pray for enemies, woooooboy, is it hard.

I'm wondering how much damage we're all doing to our eyes, long-term, by sitting by these computer screens...(I don't lose sleep over it, trust me, it's just a fleeting thought that hasn't stopped me yet, from sitting here.......)

God Bless your new home. We did the same thing 1 yr ago this past April. We moved into a larger home but in the same school bounderies because We love the schools. It was a long process because we have no intention of moving again. It was a great joy for all and I wish you the same. CONGRATS!!!!!!

Oh Brother, I hope this is not true. If it is it is time for Laura to slap that boy along side the head.

It's HARD to pray for enemies, woooooboy, is it hard. I haven't found that particularly hard. But I am so angry with the purist conservatives for trying to sabotage the President, that I haven't even thought of praying for them.

Hey you goof, I've been wondering the same thing. My eyes have really gone down hill here in the last few months. I can read the computer just fine but anything else is....YIKES! I was picking out some stain the other day at Home Depot and you would not believe the size of print they have on the back of the can! It was absolutely impossible to read. I swear, it's criminal.
Anyway, I've been wonderin' and thinkin' myself if some of this computer time is harming my eyes. Oh well...those reading glasses don't look TOOOOOO bad on me.

I've got the opposite thing going. I need my glasses for distance, NOT close work. The computer, so far, counts as close. YIKES!
My dad was an optometrist so I had the blessing (har!) of having BIfocals as a KID!!!!! BUT BUT BUT! It actually improved my eyesight. And I haven't needed a change in my prescription other than small tweaking in a loooooong time. One day, I know......(gulp)

One last post. You mentioned small print....Gramps asked me to read the label on a bottle of meds today for him. It said to take with a lot of water or other liquid. Period. "If not, it may cause choking." I kid you not. It may cause choking is the warning, no other reason.
On THAT, I leave you all for the night.
Rintene, a beautiful Dose, once again.
MM, you FINALLY have that Freepmail I promised you, hours ago.

This is not so suprising since he loves walking his dogs and he has never talked to Arafat since he became President. That really has to grate on Arafat's nerves!!!!

Yeah lets pray for Rush. I am sooooo angry at the man. I cancelled everything --I still get so irked with Rush--the other day he said he never said he was a republican--he was a conservative -giving us the onus that we misunderstood who he was and therefore he has not changed in his principles. what a jerk!!!

Since I used President Bush's picture in this mosaic earlier today, I thought some of you might like to see it.
This was designed as a welcome home graphic for our National Guardsmen who are returning home.
Some things will never be the same, and others will never change.
Thanks you for your service to our nation. Welcome home.
Click on the graphic for a large version.

Saving a picture to your hard drive won't help much if you want to post it. You've got to refer to a copy of the picture that is on some web server somewhere.
Now in the case of the the bushbot, this gif is already on the babes4bush.com website, so you just have to write the needed html code. For this particular Post 45, the poster goodnesswins posted the following (as I can see by right clicking on that page and selecting View Source in most browsers):
<center><img height=240 src="http://www.babes4bush.com/misc/bushbot.gif" width=240>
<br>
WELCOME to BushBot land.
</center>
If you reply to this post, and cut+paste the above html code into the reply, it will (well, should) come out just like
Post 45.
Later on, you will learn how to post pictures on web servers, so that you can post new pictures.

Interesting thought. Should we start a "Pray for Rush" thread, or genuinely be humble about it and do it right?
I'm having trouble getting through my prayer list twice a week, doing some every day. It irks me to have to add Rush.
See what I mean about the anger? Well, maybe I will pray for myself, to help conquer my anger.

Thank you for the pictures. I just love my President and his wife. What a blessing to have this man for our President.

Well, that part isn't so easy. The html source for one of these pages with a 100 posts might be 40,000 or 50,000 characters, so finding the little snippet of html code of interest in all that glop requires a little more html familiarity.
To: DoughtyOne
WOW....that's beautiful....thanks for sharing.
