Hey you goof, I've been wondering the same thing. My eyes have really gone down hill here in the last few months. I can read the computer just fine but anything else is....YIKES! I was picking out some stain the other day at Home Depot and you would not believe the size of print they have on the back of the can! It was absolutely impossible to read. I swear, it's criminal.
Anyway, I've been wonderin' and thinkin' myself if some of this computer time is harming my eyes. Oh well...those reading glasses don't look TOOOOOO bad on me.

I've got the opposite thing going. I need my glasses for distance, NOT close work. The computer, so far, counts as close. YIKES!
My dad was an optometrist so I had the blessing (har!) of having BIfocals as a KID!!!!! BUT BUT BUT! It actually improved my eyesight. And I haven't needed a change in my prescription other than small tweaking in a loooooong time. One day, I know......(gulp)

One last post. You mentioned small print....Gramps asked me to read the label on a bottle of meds today for him. It said to take with a lot of water or other liquid. Period. "If not, it may cause choking." I kid you not. It may cause choking is the warning, no other reason.
On THAT, I leave you all for the night.
Rintene, a beautiful Dose, once again.
MM, you FINALLY have that Freepmail I promised you, hours ago.

It's an over 40 thing. Are you over 40? Or are you on another anniversary of your 34th year like me? I got reading glasses at 41...this week my bifocals should be in. crud
