Saving a picture to your hard drive won't help much if you want to post it. You've got to refer to a copy of the picture that is on some web server somewhere.
Now in the case of the the bushbot, this gif is already on the babes4bush.com website, so you just have to write the needed html code. For this particular Post 45, the poster goodnesswins posted the following (as I can see by right clicking on that page and selecting View Source in most browsers):
<center><img height=240 src="http://www.babes4bush.com/misc/bushbot.gif" width=240>
<br>
WELCOME to BushBot land.
</center>
If you reply to this post, and cut+paste the above html code into the reply, it will (well, should) come out just like
Post 45.
Later on, you will learn how to post pictures on web servers, so that you can post new pictures.
Well, that part isn't so easy. The html source for one of these pages with a 100 posts might be 40,000 or 50,000 characters, so finding the little snippet of html code of interest in all that glop requires a little more html familiarity.
Many thanks for the help on how to get bushbot on my profile. I finally did it this morning. You have no idea how frustrated I have been. There is "zero knowledge" in my house re; computers much less html style. We can afford the computer and I have even gone to classes but never got this far. I am, as always, so impressed with the crowd I hang around with at nite. Have a nice day.
