One Hell Of A Ghost Story

Uncle John First of all, I'd like to say that although my family has never been dabbled in any paranormal practices, but we were always taught to have respect for the dead and those on "the other side". When this incident occurred, I was about 10 years old.
It was close to midnight, and as usual, I had waited for my parents to go to bed and turned my bedside lamp on and began reading a book. There was motion in my peripheral vision and I looked up rather alarmed and saw my Uncle John standing there.
Immediately, I felt calm. I didn't question his being there as it didn't seem strange. He talked to me briefly, telling me that he loved me and to promise to be good. When he ended by saying that he wouldn't be back to see me anymore, I began to cry and ask him why. Right before my eyes, he began to become transparent. Fading slowly, his smiling face began to split, spilling blood onto his plaid shirt. Just as one side of his head seemed to drop to the floor, he disappeared completely. My sense of calm was gone, and I realized what had just happened to me. I jumped from my bed and ran down the stairs to my parents room.
About half way down the stairs, the telephone began to ring. I burst into my parents room, out of breath and crying, wanting too tell them what had happened.
Instead, when I opened my mouth, I heard my own voice say, "Aunt Mary needs you on the phone!"
The conversation was short and to the point. My mother was crying, and Daddy was on the phone, trying to calm Aunt Mary.
Later that morning, my mom asked me how did I know Aunt Mary had been on the phone. I told her everything, and she backed away from me as I spoke.
Uncle John had been driving down the two lane highway to his farm when his pick up truck was hit by an 18 wheeler. The service was closed casket, his head had been damaged beyond repair. In fact, it had been nearly cleaved in two.

What does Art Bell have to do with this story? Is it alright to do some "Bell Bashing" here or is he on the protected list with Rush?

Darth, can't you tell us now.It took five and a half years to even relate that much in public, for the first time.
And it's not good to dwell upon it, either. C.S. Lewis wrote something about that: that the dual dangers of demons is to either disbelieve in them, and give them all that room to work against you. Or to believe in them too much, and become obsessed with them... so that they come to have power over you. That's what it's been like for me ever since that night: either ignore what happened entirely only on the basis that it can't be rationally explained per our understanding of physics/psychology and lose any wariness of what evil is capable of. Or become lost in a body of knowledge that our minds in this flesh should not delve into, because this flesh cannot take it without suffering some terrible effects for it.
That make sense?

I saw one in a psych ward in 98,scariest damn thing I've ever seen took about 12 guards and nurses to subdue him,Exorcist was amatuer hour compared to this.

My dad was murdered at home in 1992. At the time of his death his mother had been in a nursing home with Alzheimers for a number of years. The day he was killed, and before we told the staff, my grandmother went to the nurses station and said to the two ladies on duty My son just came by to say he loved me and but would not be able to visit me anymore and I just want to know whats going on?

I understand and don't not want you to tell now.I have a hard time with not understanding something because I do get asked many questions so I will get stuck and then I get an understanding of it.I have also seen possesion cases and I am working with someone online who is going through something and is in contact with an exorcist.

Make of this what you will. When I was 10 my father was at the tail end of a long illness (he was only 44 with five kids). Mom and my brother would have to travel a bit to see him at the VA hospital so the rest of us would be handed off to relatives for short periods of time. I was with one of my older cousins and her brother who was much closer to my age. My little sisters may have been there too. Anyway, we were hanging out in her apartment doing what kids do when the phone rang. Immediately I knew. It rang a couple of times before it was answered but I looked at my younger cousin and sort of shrugged my shoulders. (He'd lost his father too.) I KNEW. I knew at the moment that that phone rang that my father was dead. (I had no real idea what death meant but I knew it was bad.) My older cousin didn't say anything to us but we were herded over to my aunt's house (another America back then) where my mother gathered us together to deliver the news. Supernatural? Paranormal? Probably not. Maybe I picked up on all the undercurrents of what was going on all around me. (I am very sensitive and perceptive. :-P) But, I tell you, it was very strange.

That make sense? Not really, but I appreciate your fear of reprisal. I'm not a spirtual man, and I am a firm skeptic when it comes to UFOs, Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, yada yada....
In the mid 70's, when I was just an 8 year old boy, my family witnessed an extremely bizarre happening - it even made the local news. It must have been witnessed by thousands - but it went down the memory hole.
Whenever I would bring it up with my mother (a woman most logical and religious), she'd get quite upset, and would say "It was God's way".
I know I'm not creating this from whole clothe, because my brothers and sisters, who are older than me, remember it the same way.

have you ever had a vivid dream where someone you knew who had died was there I have had one of these with my father. I knew I was dreaming and he was sitting in his usual spot in my childhood house. I wanted to see him one last time. I got my wish. He looked very natural.
Also, I had a few dreams of him when he was dying of cancer that were vivid and symbolic. They indicated that he would be going to heaven and I hope they were true.

I have some good ones too. Mostly little things, but bizarre. I can't think of all of them offhand, but I remember one night when I got home from work, I was sitting on the floor reading the newspaper. There was a pen laying on my flat, stationary coffee table. Out of nowhere, it started to move and rolled right off. I just mentally kept repeating that physics rule "An object in motion tends to stay in motion, an object at rest tends to stay at rest". Then I blocked it out and went back to reading the paper. I was too tired to react. That happened twice there along with some other stuff. That was a weird place I lived at.
I had a co-worker once who lived on the outskirts of town. He told me something that had happened to him a couple of times. He was sitting in his living room and saw a procession of Indians passing through his house in a line. His brother saw it too. He did some research and found that his home was directly on the path of an old Indian trail. Interesting.

Another one, I knew this younger guy whose wife had died (several people suspected he had poisoned her). He could not sleep in their old bedroom. He told me he would walk into the room and see the rocking chair rocking like there was someone in it. Scared the heck out of him. He 'knew' her spirit was still in that house.
