I've been there in the summer...and you're right, CS. yuck! The first 10 years of my life were spent in Northern Illinois by the lake...no air conditioning back in the dark ages you know...and mosquitos...arghghg the mosquitos!

Hmmm...I'm out here on the Central Coast of California, but Mr. Inspectorette and I are flying back to DC June 15 to visit with our daughter and her family. She gave birth last Tuesday (May 28) to her third baby boy, a beautiful boy, 8 lbs., 5 oz. - a brand-new little Marine named Ethan Gregory (son-in-law is USMC Captain stationed at the Pentagon.

Of course, we don't care if it gets to be 120 degrees with 99% humidity, nothing's gonna keep us away from that baby.

Also, Mr. Inspectorette is hoping we can get to the White House to see Jim Angle and Wendell Goler, and to the Capitol, and hopefully see Carl Cameron.
