I could be wrong and am not going to take the time to go back over transcripts right now during current testimony, but my recollection is that Brenda said definitively at PH that she did not dance with DW. She was asked several times by both sides and did use the "don't recall" language, but also gave the more emphatic denial at PH. I do not detect a difference between then and today. Of course, if I am wrong we'll soon hear from the defense!

It must be a sure sign of his guilt.

I would guess though, he does not get alot of sleep.

No I wasn't the one with the Mexico theory.  I suppose it's possible, but placing it into play without any evidence is silly, IMO.  Yes I saw where you mentioned that it was someone else's theory, but you repeated it.  I'm not sure why.

Yes child abuse is all too frequent.  And yes even family members can be guilty of it.  Westerfield may have been falsely accused.  He's the defendent.  He's on trial for it.  It's the two sobering simps that are skating on this.  Perhaps that's as it should be.  I'm not convinced.

do not recall is common with witnesses...its hard to be a witness...imagine having to be a witness at the trial of your own daughters alleged killer....

You are correct, molestors and pedophiles, sex offenders can and do go undetected.. OR they wait until the opportune moment. It is a plausible theory that some have given us.. that DW found out about their lifestyle, and decided that it would be easy to commit this crime precisely because of their lifestyle...

The CTV folks are fawning over her tears...those tears are about what she will be facing soon IMHO...she is scared about what will be asked

It must be a sure sign of his guilt.

Was that facetious?

To me, he has looked half asleep throughout these proceedings. I make no judgment as to what the yawn means, only reporting what the court tv hostess said..

Is the sweating disease selective cuz he doesn't appear to be sweating during the trials?

Can you tell? It is possible the man is also medicated..

Yep...those pesky little details.

Now, she has had a revelation about Danielle's Dentist...she actually KNOWS his name this time around.

In the Preliminary hearing, she didn't know his name...must have been another case of the nerves, huh?

He's been acclamated to his new situation, and has had plenty of time to prepare himself mentally while in the gaol. The van Dam's meanwhile have been out on the town and doing all the media blitzing, surrounded by well-wishers, they surely have had less time to prepare for the stress of trial.

I just thought it was interesting that she knew DW wanted to meet her friend. I also found it strange that she knew he was going to be meeting her friend, then turned hostile when he was close by that night. It almost seemed as if a hidden agenda might be working.

Brenda liked to swing, but when a candidate for swinging poped up, Brenda seemed almost annoyed.

Absolutely unimaginable. I agree re: the "don't recall" language. I felt too much was being made of a supposed discrepancy that I don't see.

Must be hard to prepare for a trial in between all those rave parties and shopping trips--finding a good BMW to lease takes time, after all.

Isn't it odd that Brenda and Damon didn't have words over how "rude" he was being with Barara in the bed? I mean they just went straight to bed after their guests left...No argument? Weird people. sw

FR is starting to run slow....I've been outside..was she asked a question as to whether they argued over it or not?

I just want to repeat that the necklace Danielle is wearing in passport photo appears to be one of those bought in the 25 cent kiosks located at many supermarkets and stores.

Little girls all over the place were wearing them for a while when they were the item in stock next to the homies and gum.

My youngest son acted out--a lot--but I thought it was because of the alcoholism of my husband and all that went along with that. I never dreamed it was because from the time he was 8 until he was 12 that he was being molested by a neighbor's older son. I was devastated when I learned that a couple of years ago (and this happened over 30 years ago!). They stay silent but it's a deadly silence. I just thank God he's dealing with it now.
