Woe indeed. Sorry but do not include me in your woe of a Hillary/Edawrds administration just because of your self flagellation over a low level administration report hyped and distorted by the new word of G-d New York Times.

Which is exactly what I intend to do... or vote for gridlocking congress and senate so nothing gets done. I cannot take anymore of this "adopting" the liberal agenda to take away their support.
After a while, we are no longer conservative... just liberals waving a conservative flag made of paper in rainstorm of liberalism.
Your loyalty is admirable. I am afraid I cannot be that "loyal" to the "cause."

Sorry but do not include meI didn't, and don't.

You are a piece of work!

Your loyalty is admirable. I am afraid I cannot be that "loyal" to the "cause." And the self-flagellation continues over a report by the New York Times.

"It calls to question a whole plethora of recent accusations we have been hearing... Did Bush/Ashcroft KNOW that 9-11 was actually going to occur and did NOTHING about it, though they could have? Six months ago I rejected all this stuff as outright slander... now, I am beginning to wonder. Who stands to gain by compromise and lying about what was known and when?
A truly Tom Daschle statement if I have ever heard one.

My comment about Christy Whitman was quoting Margaret Carlson, who was quite upset about the Bush green record and his stalling on this report...which I take it you have read.
Looks like now, that Drudge is more upset about the death of Lew Wasserman than the EPA report.
The rest of your post is garbage...including the "indeed".

You are a piece of work! Thank you for the compliment. One must be when a lot of people go nuts over something hyped and distorted by the New York Times.

"I mean it's getting so that I don't know where he stands on some of these things"Well eventually some of the people here, like Rush has been starting to do over the last several weeks, will start to figure out that the Republican party has become just another flavor of socialism.
Granted, their not as bad as the dems, but when you look at the policies that this administration is backing, they are nothing but redistribution of wealth or socialism policies.
To: Kerberos
the Republican party has become just another flavor of socialism. INDEED... it has.
To: Kerberos
boil it slow, or boil it fast... the frog still eventually gets cooked. Socialism is the stove... we are the goose... and slowly but surely our goose is getting cooked.
To: zook
Rush has lost whatever skill he had at understanding the political zeitgeist and the political context.
You said it more succinctly and effectively than I did.
That sounds really cool and what not but um...what exactly does that mean?
To: caddie
But, amazingly, the report has as a 'given' that there IS climactic change due the presence of man, industry, fossil fuel, etc., and that it may cause environmental harm that is potentially serious, in the United States. This is exactly what Rush was complaining about. In fact, he said he's upset that "the WH signed onto a report that insults my intelligence."
To: Robert_Paulson2
and slowly but surely our goose is getting cooked. But I think that this administration has turned up the temperature.

How many enviro wacko's are jumping for joy tonight, The answer is none, they are complaining, and guess who is complaining with them? the PPE crowd and the 6K's is who...GO FIGURE :-)

And all over a hyped and distorted New York Times report.
You all are shameless in your reverance for the NYT.

Why don't you admit you don't like Bush and never did. You, yourself, said that something worse than 9-11 would happen. Not me. Secondly, President Bush's actions in light of 9-11 have been just fine in my opinion. But then again, because you dislike what Bush has done, you couldn't possibly understand why anyone else would support him. Believe it or not, it IS possible to still disagree with the President and still support him.
I asked you a diredct question about what you'd do. Your answer was cutting ties with Saudi Arabia. That's it? Do you really think that would solve all the ills and all the issues you have with the President?
I seriously doubt it.

Dreamin's good, but Action's BETTER!!Oh I've done my share, trust me.
To: Kerberos
yup... it has. NOT good. Yet another in a long series of turns towards the left, from the center where we started out... and here I hoped he would have started out at the right and stayed close to it from the get go...
Spilt milk... I am going for gridlock in november.
We cannot stop them, perhaps we can muck up the federal process by gumming up the legislative branches...
I expect the "marginalization" process to begin on any truly conservative leadership in the house and senate.
The crush to "center-left" and "left-center" is amazing to behold. Can you say, toast?
Humm..
(From Drudge) ~MORE Also for the first time -- the White House places "most of the blame for recent global warming on human actions -- mainly the burning of fossil fuels that send heat-trapping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere," the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Monday Page Ones, according to publishing sources.
I cannot find these "quotes" in the PDF document anywhere. And from scanning it (quickly, because it's literally as dry as burnt toast) I don't see anything closely resembling them either.
I have a corrupted copy of this report though, so I have to break it into sections to search.. But I really don't think I missed anything.
For anyone else wishing to give it a shot the zipped up report is HERE
And the PDF Reader (adobe acrobat) can be downloaded HERE
Knock yourself out.
