I don't think you'll find me supporting ANY of those policies.

Of course, my "take" on them might be different than yours. After all, I AM his base, remember :-)

Thanks again, GD.

Earlier, I posted that I wondered if Rush and Drudge are going up against O'Reilly. Tonight's Factor Talking Points certainly supports that theory. Bill O'Reilly took a DIRECT SWIPE at Rush Limbaugh! It was wonderful. As soon as the talking points are posted on the Factor website, I'll post them. But the sorry thing is that it is becoming more and more clear that all of this- Rush, Drudge, and Bill- is nothing more than a bunch of bulls fighting for bragging rights. Some have said Dubya is a sellout. I now wonder if the real sellouts aren't Rush, Drudge, and Bill...

There is no change here. However, you have never liked GW and nothing will change that. Neither have all of the Axis of Whining Weasels here on this thread. The whining has become so expected and runs off like water off of Good Gore Tex.

I saw this tidal change of using left wing maggot opeds in January of 2000 before GW became president. Some of the so called conservatives were running hit articles from the NY Slimes, DC Compost and LA Slimes and using them as clubs to bash GW just like with this phoney article. A lot of conservative sites got un bookmarked at that time. If I want the left wing Bravo Sierra from these left wing fishwraps, I will go directly to the trash no need for second hand passing of it by Rush Klimbaugh or Sean Klannity.

Actually, I think all of this is really good. We now know that the KKKKKKer Klassless Klowns will not help us with this fall's elections anymore than the other Bush haters. In a shootout it, it is good to know where your enemies are before the shooting starts. That way you never turn your back to them. Those who think that this election is not serious for us, have been inhaling or sniffing too much of something. You will not deter us from what is important. We will defeat the rats in the senate without your help, nor do we need your help.

We will unseat enough rats in the Senate to really upset the Bush haters. It will be a long and hard 6+ years for the Bush haters. Irrelevance is an awful thing in life and politics. You guys had better buy a lot ice and Vaseline. Then maybe get group rates with your favorite shrinks.

This article is like the Bravo Sierra articles to fire Mr Mueller because he didn't stop 9/11.

The reality that the Bush haters can't face is a simple one. Mueller was not appointed as FBI Director until 9/4/2001. The NY Slimes and the usual left wing media maggots were just trying to protect the real guilty ones, the bent one and his man/it Jake Reno. Amazing the so called conservatives who hate GW jumped right on that one and demanded that Mueller be fired as he had been so wrong for a whole week.

Again I will restate a simple rule of life: If you are a real conservative, you would never use an unchecked out oped by the NY Slimes, Washington Compost or LA Slimes. The minute you cite one of the Bravo Sierra opeds, you have as much credibility as a three time loser saying, he was innocent!

Rush Klimbaugh and Sean Klannity just ate a whole bunch of NY Slimes Bravo Sierra and thought that it tasted good. They have lost even more credibility with the ones who will not be deterred this November when we defeat a lot of Rat senators.

The sheeple blindly follow their beloved oracle, The New York Times...must obey...must obey...

By the way, I'm confused. Who is the frog and who is the goose?

We all know the NYT is the leftist bible. Everybody knows it.

What we didn't know was that the Bush administration was going to do an Al Gore and put its stamp of approval on global warming theory. It will be all I can stomach to watch the dems trot out the "but your own administration issued a report blaming consumption of fossil fuels for ongoing global warming" in 2004.

The NYT can't "hype and distort" a report that doesn't exist. Something this administration should remember if they don't want to be criticized by conservatives who don't swallow the global warming BS.

Maybe we will resurect as a conservative party, that would defend the Constitution.

So you're admitting you are willing, most like desiring, to destroy the Republican Party to prove your point?

Why don't you just go start your own party. 90 percent of CONSERVATIVES like Bush and approve of the way he is doing his job.

I would be willing to bet that 90% of these pouting pitchforkers have not read the report, they're reacting to the NYT's article titled "U-Turn" By using that title tells me that it's divide and conquer article intended to stir up the weakest link of the republican party and we see who they are. They are so predictable, and time and time again they fall for the bait without ever reading the report, ALl I see is qoutes from the NYT's followed by Bush is a Socialist, meanwhile the editors over at the NYT's are snickering silently

"Whoop de do!! And you basically had to claim it on this years taxes as income to be taxed. That's a tax cut?" Not true and the IRS did a press conference to clear this little myth up.

Actually it seems more like a majority of Conservatives don't care what Bush does because he's "one of us".

He could start wearing dresses everywhere and I'm sure among Conservatives his poll numbers would still be high.

Poll numbers don't mean anything, the Clintons *should* have taught you that, as well as Bush's father, who had extremely high ratings shortly before he lost his re-election bid, not to mention the fact that this country is evenly split along party lines (going by the 2000 election) and so %90 is not good enough. Only 90 percent of Conservatives won't get GWB re-elected, it's those non-Conservatives who are straddlin' the fence or lean to the left and defect to the "right side" (pun intended) that will help GWB get re-elected. GWB is catering to this crowd, as evidenced by the fact that as of right now, this country is less Conservative than when he took the White House, and this adminstration has done more to lean to the left than they needed to.

You posted, (From Drudge) ~MORE Also for the first time -- the White House places "most of the blame for recent global warming on human actions -- mainly the burning of fossil fuels that send heat-trapping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere," the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Monday Page Ones, according to publishing sources.

I cannot find these "quotes" in the PDF document anywhere. And from scanning it (quickly, because it's literally as dry as burnt toast) I don't see anything closely resembling them either.

So, at this time it appears from what you have read, that the NY Slimes as usual as a lying left wing maggot infested fishwrap did some Creative Lying on this Bravo Sierra Article.

Gee what a surprise, the NY Slimes would lie in an article that got Rush KLimbaugh and Sean Klannity upset and then they made fools out themselves as part of the Klassless Klowns who hate GW 24/7 and pretend to be Konservatives during their radio shows. Then, it brings out the PPE crowd, FR's hub of the Axis of Whining Weasels to whine, cry and moan and yell "GW sold us out again. How do we know, the NY Slimes told us so!"

I guess what confuses me is how quickly those of you who so passionately defend Bush turn on those, who were one-time allies and denounce them with every name you can muster. Sounds like you are guilty of the same rush-to-judgment, "hater" mentality.

It tells me that, Clinton-like, you'll denounce me the instant I disagree with the man of the hour. I've noticed on this thread that every single time someone even questions Bush's agenda, they are attacked as a "whiner" and "disloyal" and on and on it goes. People who are committed to limited government, a constitutionally bound judiciary, and who are staunchly pro-life are considered no better than the mindless leftists.
Something seems wrong with this picture.

As a conservative military member, I didn't care for Bush (as a politician) before he won the primary, after the election (although I voted for him), and now. I'm not being inconsistent; I have never felt comfortable with his "new tone" approach. I still consider myself very much a conservative and can't fathom why disagreeing with Bush = traitor.
I do agree with what has been said by paying attention to who the source is that we get much of the news from, but at the end of the day, I don't think folks should burn in the Pit for criticizing Bush.

Personally, I'm left to wonder at a "strategery" that leaves a great deal of your base annoyed (at best confused or in a "wait and see" posture) and your enemies emboldened. Whatever happened to simply telling the truth boldly and consistently? To taking the fight right to the enemy in the way of speeches? Whatever happened to courage of convictions? Why are folks on this thread left to surmise and argue among themselves what is meant by this or that move by the administration? Is there anything wrong with longing for a day when you have a leader who will clue you in??

If the NYT's was happy with the report, It would be titled "President Bush's own hand selected Scientist have debunked his stand on Global Warming"

As I said earlier, Rush Limbaugh is a good conservative, but he worships the almighty dolar first and foremost, His job is to talk about controversy, without it he is jobless. That's why you hear him quoting the NYT's and The ComPost. As far as Matt Drudge, he is an opportunist whore just like Larry Klayman

There's no frog. There's no goose.

There are just horse's asses who swoon at every anti-Bush claim printed by a Republican-hating press.

Woe indeed.

Well my disillusion has been a gradual thing. It wasn't one single issue that made me turn them off. So, while there are many similarities between the dissatisfaction of Dubya and Rush/Hannity, I'd venture to say that many of those who no longer support Dubya did so because of one issue, not a build up of many (note, I said many, not all.)

Conservatives demand philosophical, political and ethical purity from their leaders...

The funny thing about this global warming dust up is that Global Warming is not a Conservative v. Liberal having to do with issue is a scientific debate going on which will be only resolved with time.

What is a Conservative v. Liberal issue is the response to the possibility of global warming and this report is saying that we are not going take draconian measures as prescribed by the left whether or not global warming exists is about as Conservatively pure as you can get.

When the DemocRATS figure out how neatly this issue has been taken from them they will be disturbed.

I read the report and I found nothing like what the NYT's is claiming, the're just using it for the only value it has. And that's stirring up the weakest link
