We need a real Mr. Nice Guy who will stand up and tell the full, unabridged truth about everything and take a strong stand on conservative principles.

I am telling you it wont work. We need a slick guy that promises everyone everything, and once elected, just makes big U-turns, while kicking his supporters in the head. It works everytime.

Yeah slick is the word alright. Forget Country and freedom. Those issues are 'outdated' to the globalist who think everyone should be world citizens. Of course to be a world citizen, one must be tagged just like cattle. Say...do I hear somebody mooooooo?

ask Judge Pickering, Rush was lost me cause he is breaking all his own rules,he is not funny, and, no matter how he decides it, he is hurting our war on terrorism.

The only part of this story that surprises me, is how many other people are surprised at this apparent flip-flop.

I find it truly amazing that there is still anyone who believes that Dubya is conservative.

At least I don't have to accept any responsibility for Dubya's liberal actions.  I didn't vote for him.

Saber, the comment by hchutch in the original post states.......

It seems to me that Matt wasn't quite listening here,
appears to be one comment taken out of context.

I didn't hear RushBo, so I don't know.

His analogies are continually flawed, he can't see the forest for the trees, and he overreacts to everything Bush does that he disagrees with

Limbaugh has lost it. His statement "To say that we can outdo what the sun does is absolute folly," is inanely ignorant, whatever your views on global warming. A fourth grader with a reasonable command of Weekly Reader understands the major premise--that emissions from burning fossil fuels increase levels of greenhouse gases, which traps solar energy and raises temperatures. From the article, you'd guess Rush thinks the proposed mechanism is extra heat from car exhaust.

[They are no better than the Clinton sycophants]

Actually, I suspect most of them of having been Clinton sycophants. Celebrity cultists switch celebrities as a matter of course according to which is given the most face time on TV.

Bush is a man of God. Clinton is a liar. You're just confused (or stupid) if you can't tell the difference.

Start praying for the man, read the Scripture more carefully, and the truth about George W. Bush might be revealed to you and your fellow "Christians." You're confusing your narrow political ideology with your so-called Christianity. It's dangerous, friend. Be careful.

global warming or freezing is mainly determined by the amount of ice at the poles, when ice caps melt oceans rise and when the earth cools ice increases on the polesand the oceans shrink.

[to remind you that Andrew Sullivan is GAY]

Ha! I never say he's gay. I call him a queer. His opinion is worthless because he's a Brit queer instead of an American queer. ;-)

Based on your nonresponse, I take it you have no opinion on this question (which I've asked twice):

-Any opinion on #831 or #893?

Gasp, wheeze, and stumble, but some of us actually think that that part of Scripture means something that talks about God's opposition to homosexual behaviour.

First of all "my church" doesn't have an official opinion on George W. Bush. We think for ourselves, and have different opinions. I would be very afraid to be part of a "church" that came up with collective political positions. I prefer being in a church that believes in the inerrancy of Scripture, the Sovereignty of God, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and that he died for our sins and rose again, but allows independent thought within that framework.

Secondly, any Christian who doesn't believe homosexuality is a sin, and God isn't opposed to it, is either ignorant of Scripture, or not a Christian at all.

But that is very different than believing that homosexuals should not ever be hired for any position. I would not want a homosexual to be a babysitter or a school teacher, but I would hire one as a mechanic.

The matter of appointing a homosexual for a government position is a matter of opinion, not a spiritual black and white.

My mom voted for Keyes in the '96 primary, because she loved his Christian stance and agreed with much of his view. Christian conservatives in South Carolina liked Keyes best in that primary and he was very badly treated by the GOP that year.

Keyes has recently revealed his agenda and it's so much like that of the fanatic radicals of the 1850's and '60s republican party that I can't support him at all anymore. He has become a raving bystander and is dooming himself to the sidelines.

Rush has proven he's no shill. He even admitted that he was glad he had done that.

Now he just sounds like a fool.

The leftists that he's attracting by his 'controversy' will be gone in a flash. Long time loyal listeners (like me) who support and respect the President are leaving in droves. If he doesn't want to lose a large chunk of his audience permanently, he'd better stop his nasty (and yesterday.....ignorant) bashing.

I don't know about the far rightists who are part of the Bush hating audience, and love what Rush is doing now. They make no sense to anyone except themselves.

Dave, the soccer moms didn't become conservatives. They're still the same old liberals they always were. They'll say "We lubya, Dubya" and then they'll vote for Hillary. Same thing with the wetbacks wanting amnesty. They'll vote for Hillary as well, even if Dub slips them the gold keys to the executive washroom.

It should really bother you to have raving socialists voicing their support for Bush, because that sort doesn't give their vocal support to anyone unless that person looks like one of them, and even then they won't vote for him. Bush's pandering to these groups of traditional democrat voters is going to result in no votes anyway. Going along with him on it is koolaid drinking at its worst, too.

Those polls were not to be trusted when Clinton was in office. What makes them worth anything now? Remember that the Constitution doesn't mention polling the public as a means for deciding policy. Instead it lays out a list of rules for government which specify the total extent of federal powers.

The polls were so obviously fraudulent while Clinton was being impeached that I wouldn't have been surprised to have read that the latest poll showed 139% of Americans believed Clinton was innocent. When you're fighting monsters you have to be careful not to become one yourself. Adopting the monsters' tactics are one sure way to become what you're fighting.

Rush, Hannity and Savage are now the screaming heads and smiling talking heads spreading the manure for the NY Times.

You're right. Rush, Hannity, and Savage have become dupes of the NY Times and other liberals. It doesn't matter what they say, though, because the public trusts Pres. Bush. I'm curious to see Rush's ratings when they come out again because he's on his way down. The bottom line is that Bush needs a Republican Senate, and that is what Republicans should focus on.

Now, just a second. Let's look at who all is in on this conspiracy:

Rush Limbaugh
Matt Drudge
Sean Hannity
Laura Ingraham
Michael Savage
Various other conservatives

Let's see who thinks the administration is right on this:

Andrew Sullivan
Bill O'Reilly
Environmentalist Wackos
Liberals

Free hint for the President: when pretty much all conservatives disagree with you, you might want to consider that it's not a conspiracy, and that you might be wrong.

Bush is a globalist. He is no conservative. He is just following orders, as he was (s)elected to do. Get used to it. Free trade, the evaporation of national borders made invisible to corporate entities, is his prime goal. More limits to individual freedom in the name of security despite the fact that 911 should have been smelled out with existing security procedures, are here. Big government under the control of corporate interests (also known as fascism) is his true aim.
