President Bush attended a NATO ceremony today called the 'Rome Declaration', which made Russia a junior member. Bush also raised concerns regarding the child sex scandal in the Catholic Church as he met with Pope John Paul. The President and First Lady returned to the White House late this afternoon. Get those right-clicks ready and enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Doesn't that just drive you crazy when the media keep harping that "this is the least=travelled President, blah, blah". What does that have to with anything? Taking a trip to Zimbabwe doesn't make you an effective leader.
Media Morons!

--Course, maybe it's just that they were making an assessment on "personal character" too...which is another subject they know nothing of!

Laura, on the other hand, has to think of a suit--pants or skirt one; do I wear a blouse or a scarf inside my suit; did I bring the right shoes to match that outfit; and then, did I bring the right jewelry to accent it. NOT FAIR ha haNot fair, maybe, but a LOT more FUN! Laura doesn't wear a lot of jewelry, even costume jewelry as accessories. It would be fun to see her in some different pins or medium sized beaded neclaces to go along with those lovely colored suits she wears. Even some flowy scarves would be nice!!

LOL...the mowing part...at 5am in the morning? (I live on a golf course). BUT, I always thought weeding and planting things was fun, so I spend lots of time doing that....known as the "digger" in my neighborhood, I'm sure. (others hate it, I know.) And, I like to cook, IF I'm trying something new, too.....so I'm just kinda weird - always was, always will be.

Thank you both for the info.

Yeah, "evil" has a way of coming off like a wall.

And no president in history has had such sustained high approval ratings as this presidentAnd they keep saying that those ratings will go down.......but they don't. The RATS and the media have thrown everything in the book at them......reaching the bottom with the BUSH KNEW swill, and it has not worked.
IMO, it is because the American people can see who this man is, and they love who he is. I believe that it is only since they have seen George W. Bush, with his honesty and dignity, his humor and tears, that they have realized how very foolish it was to have elected Clinton, and how shallow he was. The contrast could not be more stark. It is good vs. evil, and thank the Lord, most Americans can see the difference.

To clinton, the meeting with the pope was just another photo-op, nothing more.

You have got to let us know what is in Cinco de Mayo soup I never could get excited about a soup that calls for five cups of mayo.

I LOVE to cook for entertaining. It's the everyday stuff that I don't dig.
As for the mowing, I was thinking more of the evening shift! LOL!

Gram, I loved hooking 20 years ago. I tried to find supplies again a year or so ago, but couldn't. Do you know where to find rug sized mats and wool yarn?
Scuze me for butting in, but I'd love to do this again!

Yeah, others said it was probably the longest confession on record! LOL!

Yes, as I recall, according to the dim-o-crats President Bush's poll numbers were going to drop 10 points within a week. Didn't happen.

When I saw the first photo of old Ton' and W with their heads together, I thought, I bet they asked to be seated by each other.

WOW! I hope to visit the Vatican (and the rest of Italy) at some point in the near future. If only I didn't have to fly -- I'm not sure my husband's hand/forearm/shoulder/knee would survive such a long flight. Too bad I don't drink!
